Wireless sensor battery dead! Hkc 1070! Help!

    Hi, I recently bought a house with a HKC 1070 alarm.. one of the wireless sensors never worked. Changed the battery , flashes red for a couple of seconds and nothing happens. With a full set this sensors doesn't trigger the alarm, how to I link it back to main system. Can't manage to access engineer mode on alarm either! Any help very much appricated 😉

    Does it even register a tamper when you open it?
    Sounds like it has been un-enrolled from the system.
    You would need the engineer code to re-enroll it.
    Unfortunately we are not allowed help you on here with engineer codes.

    Yep sounds about right, because there's no error on the key pad. Is it a case the engineer would have to re add the zone onto the system? Any idea how much it cost for a service because need to change codes also, as previous owner had neighbour's minding the house with alarm codes Etc... Thanks for the quick reply.

    You could call them out or request engineer code.
