Help with New Build

I want to have a shot at building a PC, something to do when the weather gets
bad. I have two components and I would like to use them,
1. New Power Supply OCZ Core X Stream 500W. (As this is a couple of years old is there any problem with modern MOBs/Etc.?)
2. Brand new unused Sandisk Ultra 480GB SSD.
As regards the rest I would probably like to use an Intel I5 processor but I am open to cheaper suggestions. Not interested in overclocking either.
Being a silver surfer no need for games but I do a bit of video editing from
digital video camera.
I would welcome suggestion for CPU,MOB, RAM and a mid tower case.
I have been looking at Partspicker but need re assurance that this OCZ PSU will
still work for todays setup.

PSU haven't changed the connection types in the past few years. Since partpicker checks the compatibility on parts, find the model you have add it to the build and it should tell you if there is a problem, What budget do you have. Can you post the list of parts you have considered buying to get feedback. What kind of digital camera do you have. Is it a standard HD or super duper 4K.

Should be ok for a machine without a dedicated GPU.

To answer your question its A Sony just a standard HD camera.
