Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sky must be hard up for a few pound, only one pundit?

And his English is cat, just called Zlatan a chauvinist when he meant he was macho.

The 3pm game seems to be done on a shoestring. Its always only 1 pundit.

Why when Fellaini has performed well in that role this season & Bastian has barely kicked a ball.

Possibly play Herrera in Carrick position and Fellani further firward

Praying we get the job done nice and smoothly with no bullsh*t. Hopefully Martial can get some confidence today

Fellaini is perfectly fine in the Carrick role in a game like this

Would think Ander in the Carrick role felani further ahead

No need to go all out for an exclusive Irish audience. The ratings must be small

Traore v Blind is a big problem

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,949 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

Fellaini is causing all sorts of problems when pressing the ball and Mkhi is just hoovering up the ball after him. It's working great!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,689 ✭✭✭sky88

Once we get one boro will be there for the taking

Blind has been poor going forward

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,330 ✭✭✭Dwarf.Shortage

Fellani is very dangerous in his current role, him and Zlatan arriving onto crosses must be a nightmare.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,777 ✭✭✭jimmytwotimes 2013

Carrick ill, hope it the kinda thing he can shake off before next match.

That is the worst fúcking decision I've ever seen.

Ibrahimovic's foot was on the ground when he made contact with him. He actually had time to hit ball and put his leg back down before bumping into Valdes. Prick of a ref.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 20,779 ✭✭✭✭jayo26

How is that disallowed fantastic finish

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,304 ✭✭✭madcabbage

Nothing in that, ref is daft

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,752 ✭✭✭Thepoet85

    Such a fcukin joke.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,689 ✭✭✭sky88

If anything is that not a foul on zlatan. Valdes jumped into him.

    Valdes milking it

Shocking decision if he was going in on the keeper I could understand it but he was well gone by time keeper got near him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

Refs are a joke these days

    Mason is awful.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,229 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

After a bad result, I can usually forget about it after an hour but if we drop points over something like that, I'll be fuming all week.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,347 ✭✭✭Quandary

Only 2 mins injury time afte that bullsh1t as well.

    Joke

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,229 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

Worst thing is Mourinho won't be allowed to utter a word about that decision.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,428 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

    Refs are a feckin joke.
Nothing wrong with that goal at all.
I'm not a United supporter but the ref done them there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,054 ✭✭✭wanderer100

On the bright side, Martial looks immense

I hope he does tbh, Id say every United fan and player is fuming at that decision and i hope he tears the ref a new one, especially if we drop points. Refs need to start being held accountable for their **** ups. we all know that won't happen though

There are ways around that. The reporter only has to ask the question and Jose can come out with something like 'I don't want to talk about refereeing decisions, you want me to say he is crap, you want me to say it was a terrible decision, you want me to say the referee is clueless and shouldn't be refereeing important football games, but I won't talk about referees. :D

Anyway Boro are there for the taking. They are way too deep and trying to play the ball out too much. Only danger is the outball to their right.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a Utd goal come from a ball given away by a Boro player within 30 yards of their goal.

You'd imagine Pogba will be a bigger influence in the second half and not as sloppy.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,347 ✭✭✭Quandary

Martial has been excellent so far. It would be great to see him rewarded with a goal. He's giving Chambers nightmares on the wing.

Pogba has been taking a bit too much out of the ball at times today. I'd like to see him move the ball on a bit quicker when in the final third.

Overall a decent performance and we should be a goal ahead if not for an annoying decision.

Just saying that to the lads. Refereeing standard this year has been terrible. Case in point how two footers being interpreted and Mike Dean the only one really implementing the rule change on jersey pulling.

We also seem to have a large range of shocking decisions against us this season. That better not cost us

Not just against us either. The standard overall is awful. I've no problem with tight off sides decisions being missed but the likes of today's call are just infuriating.

Looked at match thread and remembered why I don't post in them during the game.

Why is it the case they are so bad but yet the changes they made was ment to improve the standard of reffing but I never remember it been as bad.

He is playing deeper and been pretty good in my opinion he is closing down and covering the back four leaving the ball off for the front 5 similar to what Carrick does and that's all he needs to do.
