Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Martial has obviously gotten a serious heart to heart kick up the arse from Jose as he looks like he is buzzing. A few months sulking gone in a flash.

    And he scores. Ha.

    Beautiful flowing goal.. loving this!

    Lovely finish

No chance Hargreaves will praise the start Utd have made, closing Reading down and putting the squeeze on them

Could start a drinking game for every time Hargreaves says passive

    Rojo down :/

Jose might be calling Jose Fonte.

Just avoid the injuries now. Reading won't do s**t

Looked like Rojos calf, which could be a couple of days or a couple of weeks. Either way I think Jose signs a center back, Fonte for short term of Lindelof for long term is the question though

Couple of great balls in there from Young. Great squad option.

We're so wasteful. Its why we are in 6th.

He gave me a wee laugh by reminding me of Jack Wilshire squaring up to Fellaini, with Fellaini's reaction and that 'Wtf?' look towards the ref. :pac:

Wilshire/Williams to team-mate in dressing room: "He's lucky the ref was there, I would have had him."

Team mate: "Aww, yeah you would!"

Bloody Rashford has been unlucky, hope him and Mata grab a goal each, Martial has done good again too.

Ibra looks like he's loving life at United. Great to see.

Today is a good example of why Rashford has so much promise, but also that he is not yet ready.

Young is lucky there when you consider what Rojo got away with and what Feghouli didn't.

    ****ing love Martial

Rashford should have 3 or 4 goals, easily. Very wasteful from him.

Take Carrick off and wrap him in bubble wrap FFS

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,519 ✭✭✭Flint Fredstone

It's a good job Rooney didn't connect properly for that goal by the looks of him since :pac:

He's been rubbish. Swap him and Martial for the last 25.

Bit harsh tbh. His movement has been great, got himself into some great positions but his finishing has been poor.

He has been far from rubbish, a striker is all about getting into those positions, hes been doing that very well but his finishing has been very poor today.

Sorry but I meant his finishing has been rubbish. I'd keep him on but move Martial up front.

Get Carrick off ffs.No need to have him still out there but I presume he play v Hull.

Second half a big disappointment so far, looked very dangerous first half.Same old problem and reason we are in 6th waste way too may chances

Delighted for him. lovely pass from Carrick aswell.

He has scored and missed a glut of chances. Don't know why people say he can't fill in for Zlatan.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 54,652 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

    lol

    That is brilliant

Adequately replacing Carrick is going to be a pain in the bollocks.

    Emphatic finish from Rashford. Lethal.

How glorious would it be if Wayne breaks the record coming off the bench to score the winner against the Scousers next weekend..

Needs to be done though, sooner rather than later. When I hear about new contracts I wonder if we are just repeating the Scholes mistake, sticking with a guy long past the point where it was healthy for the team.

not ready??! he is more than ready, lad is a serious talent

Without Carrick in the team we wouldn't be even sitting in 6th
Maybe the required quality for that position is still not available, he's having one of his finest seasons
No harm in another year and have him as secondary next season while a full time replacement is brought into the team in the
    summer
I would like to think Carrick and ibra share similarities when it comes to rubbishing the notion that at your mid thirties you are suddenly in decline.
