Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Unbelievable decision making really.

Lingard will score now and demonstrate that you could write what I know about football on a stamp.

Lingard in the shop window, if so his value is plummeting. Mata being rested for the match midweek perhaps.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,689 ✭✭✭sky88

    Starting lingard was puzzling

Keeping him on is just stupid

Rested for a cup game :/

This game is 100 times more important
Another draw or loss at home in the PL
    Unacceptable

You put a player in the shop window against some lower-league team in the early rounds of the League Cup, not a must-win league game.

Why is it keepers are playing world class against us this season

We are sliding further and further out the binomial curve with these goalkeeping performances it's getting absolutely f**king ridiculous.

    The buck stops with Jose
Yet another PL game not getting a home win again against a West Ham team who have been shocking all season

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,196 ✭✭✭✭RobbingBandit

Worst run of draws in quite a while, mad stuff altogether really.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,225 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

Title is still on though, right? Never give up and all that?

Top 6 is the target for the season.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,137 ✭✭✭✭TheDoc

    Another terrible result.

Simply not good enough any which way you shape it.

Also 100% braindead stuff from Jose. Embarrassing from the officials taking action over kicking a water bottle, but Mourinho should know better. He is a marked man.

Again it's one step forward and two back. These are **** results against dreadful opposition.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,346 ✭✭✭Quandary

At this rate finishing in the top 4 will be very very difficult. 8 points off 4th is fcuking depressing.

Herrera and Pogba poor in that second half.

Questions need to be asked why Jesse was started tbh. He offers nothing imo.
Although he scored a lovely goal today I'm beginning to see Ibra being a real issue, he slows everything down and a lot of attacks lose impetus because of it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,774 ✭✭✭jimmytwotimes 2013

Really struggling to open teams up. Lack of a player who can beat a man or get quick control of ball and play a quick pass is killing us. Ibra again had a couple of decent chances after goal and didn't take them.

West Ham deserved that point though. Top 4 still does not look likely. Jose has a job on his hands but I'd say he's realised that a while back.

We made the chances and we couldn't finish. That's been the theme. The football has been good.

    In about 30 years.

Club seem determined to break every negative record post Fergie. Useless

Careful asking questions or you might get tainted with having an anti Mourinho agenda.

His management of this squad, this far, has been nothing short of comical.

    It has and it hasn't
    Not enough urgency
    Not enough chances created
Conversion rate is atrocious and we are so very frail at the back

Oh and atrocious at defending set-pieces

Chasing a late winner and bringing on Fellaini says it all.
This is a season to forget for United, and honestly it's difficult to see next year being much better. The mire we're in we could sign Messi and make him play sh1te, times were always going to be tough after Fergie, but we're becoming a shadow of what we were as a club.

    Glazers Out!

Europa league is going to become our main target by the looks of things.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,576 ✭✭✭deaddonkey15

Rooney and Mkhitaryan really should have started. Leaving Lingard on for that long is inexplicable.

Jose seems hell bent on turning the club into his own personal circus. Basically all the negative things people thought he may bring to the club are becoming common place this season.

It's all so bleak these days, no sign of any light at the end of the tunnel, any time we look to be progressing we slip up like today.

    Glazers Out!

Lingard & Rashford on the wings is thoroughly uninspiring.

Another dropped point after a europa league match dont think weve won once after a thursday night! Mickey Ryan looking a bit lightweight atm being pushed off the ball too easily, hoping he will acclimatise to the league. Fuming over that result its so frustrating to watch!

I agree, but think about the PACE!

I think, and have suspected for some time, that Mourinho is managements version of the Emperor's new clothes.

His approach is very straightforward but the success is all about the aura and the players believing in him.

I'm not saying he's suddenly a bad manager but I think the thing that made him really special was the fact that everyone thought he was special.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,790 ✭✭✭Bret Hart

All we're is just a mid table cup team.Best to now focus all our efforts on going for the EL.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,346 ✭✭✭Quandary

Lingard is an odd one alright. He is a strange player in that he can pop up and score some top class goals but then be completely anonymous in another game. I would prefer to see him come off the bench and not feature as a starter.

Today is the most annoyed and depressed I've felt about a game in a long long time. At this stage talk of a title challenge is beyond laughable. Right now, we will be doing very well to finish in the top 4.

What a pile of utter horsesh1t.

  • Registered Users Posts: 209 ✭✭loudnoises89

Pogba is looking exceptional, that's the only plus from this game. Really bossing midfield for us.

Let those knees jerk away there folks.

Lingaard needs a spell in the stands after that stupid mistake and Rashford needs to bury that chance in the first half.

Just don't know whats wrong with united, but we somehow manage to snatch a draw from the jaws of victory. Also, why did Jose change the team from Thursday? Lingaard and Rashford haven't done enough to warrant a place this season.

Presumably it was fitness related for Mikhi anyway.

I've said it before ans I'll say it again, Lingard is a waste of a jersey.

Absolutely baffling that he was left on and our most effective creative player taken off.
