Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dave has got to do better there. Can't push the ball out into the middle of the box

    Our season so far...

In fairness to big Dave he probably owes us a few bad ones from all the times he's saved our ass.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,495 ✭✭✭✭bucketybuck

People easily dismiss the thought, and not without reason, but seriously if we didn't have bad luck this season we wouldn't have any luck at all.

Rashford for Ibra at half time please. If he had played others in or could finish we could have been 3 up

We are one up because of him!

Team is doing fine. Wouldn't be changing anything.

People have to see that Ibra is missing a ****e load of chances all season and in fairness if it was Rooney who didn't play others in like Ibra tonight he would be slated

wouldnt blame de gea, was a rocket of a shot with loads of swerve and it bounced right in front on him

Nah, he has to be dealing with that better. Weak keeping.

Yes he has missed chances but has scored already tonight and on the other two, the opportunity to shoot opened up for him on both occasions.

Commentator mentioned he signaled the bench then Blind went to warm up straight away

Yeah looked like it and Blind sent to warm up even though it was just half time.

No matter what he has to at least push that to the side away from the middle of the pitch. Even if it falls to a West ham player it would be much harder to score because of the angle

Edit: looking at the goal there. Even Shaw anticipated him pushing it to his left

If you want to give him that benefit fair enough but his conversion rate is shocking. At least 5 clear cut to score 1

Dirty ****.. that's a red card all day. Ibra lucky his leg wasn't planted

For such a young boy Shaw really seems to be carrying a little bit too much weight for high level professional footballer IMO. It looks to me as if he's lost a good yard of pace. Even taking into account his horrific injury and difficult recovery he really should have been doing all in his power to keep his weight in check.

Still only 21 so hopefully he can get himself back to his Southampton form eventually but it's not going well for him at the moment.

Yes he should have. Herrera poor for it in the middle of the park and Shaw at least 5 yards deeper than all the the defenders and played the attackers on side

Watching Ibra'a goal again. Adrian should have been straight off for leaving the boot in. Scummy.

Very lucky. That could've snapped easily if he was stood on it looking at the point of impact.

Ref did nothing so he should end up getting a ban.

Now let's get Rooney on the score sheet build all the attackers confidence

Well that's scratched now coz he just got himself his 5th yellow card of the season

Mickey Ryan reminds me a lot of Andrei Kanchelsis.....

For you young fans out there he was a superb Russian right winger we had who had great pace and an eye for a pass.

How that's a yellow yet Adrian is on the pitch is just baffling.

For giving out to the ref I think, which is annoying as there is no consistency with these bookings

    Miki has too much class

Id sub him off soon to keep him fresher for the weekend.

The ref giving Rooney a soft one back there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,906 ✭✭✭✭PhlegmyMoses

I'll say it now lest we all be accused of never giving Rooney credit. He's been excellent tonight. His passing has been inventive and on point and his movement and first touch have been too notch. Please keep it up Wayne.

That's exactly the problem. Book him for dissent sure, but give a red for the filthy challenge too!
