Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Yes what's your point.

What you are complaining about is trademark Liverpool fan stuff. They are the kings of conspiracies and the "everyone is out to get us" mentality.

Yes and Utd fans are doing the exact thing that ye ripped the piss out of us for years.

it is infuriating watching Bournemouth roll over. we really have to win today. the teams above us are pulling ahead big time and I can't see us making up the gap if we don't go on a winning streak asap.

Probably about time to buy some plastic Chelsea flags

The least bad option of the other 3 who will be there at the end. Arsenal will be 4th barring a miracle from us

Sadly I also think this is case for us now. too many teams abobe us are playing really well. We are depending on other teams to start capitulating. Our odds of making the top 4 are getting longer each week it seems.

we can't change where we are in the table or influence other teams resulrs but if Jose managed to get the team winning matches between now and the end of the season at least we could be in with a shout.

Tbh with Jose's record in cup competitions and the fact this team won the FA cup last season with a woefully inept manager I'm not giving up in CL qualification just yet. Liverpool took the Europa serious last season and got to the final. Why can't United, especially with Jose's European experience.

Today's line up will be interesting. also how the team click after another excellent mid week win.Hopefully the team selection does not halt that progress again

In fairness we haven't been doing it as long. Hopefully we don't get there with practice.

    De Gea
    Valencia Jones Rojo Darmian
    Carrick Herrera
    Mikhitaryan Pogba Martial
    Ibrahimovic

Loving that team, excited to see that attack.

    Bailly back on the bench.

I'd prefer Blind at full back (or in Carricks role) but yet again we have to be pretty happy with the team selection.

Expected that team, slightly unlucky for Mata but Mikki and Martial jumped on their chance during the week

    You play the form

Happy with the 11. Would lean slightly more to blind at left back

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,026 ✭✭✭duffman13

Love that team, Blind and Mata can feel a bit unlucky, Rashford and Mata are two nice options on the bench. Great to see Bailly back for the Xmas period too

I stopped watching the Bournemouth game, every time I watched it - Liverpool scored.
When I watched something else Bournemouth scored.
It has no effect on the result, but I will not watch...haha
We really have to win and close the gap and hope we continue where we left off on Wednesday.

Are Shaw and Smalling both injured? I seem to recall that Smalling is (broken toe?) but Shaw is not is he?

    http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php

It says Shaw has a late fitness test and Smalling not back untill next week, has Bailly wrong but usually its fairly accurate.

Not sure but feel Shaw doesnt always make the bench when he doesnt start as he isnt very versatile

The win is so important today. I'd take a Van Gaal-esque performance as long as the 3 points are secured!

Crazy that Bailly is back already

If they won that at 3-3, it could've been their Ronaldo at Craven Cottage moment.

    awful refereeing

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,576 ✭✭✭deaddonkey15

Another attempt to cut Ibrahimovic in two goes unpunished.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,737 ✭✭✭Hococop

Watch as he gives us a soft yellow now for nothing, joke

Did us a favour there. Rojo should be off without a doubt.

More evidence that Oliver is one of the worst, most cowardly refs around.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

Look okay going forward but the defence look very shaky

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,519 ✭✭✭Flint Fredstone

Gareth Barry should be off by now. A hack of a tackle, a deliberate handball and a dive. Still cardless...

Ibra has a bit of the Ronaldo about him when it comes to free kicks. Thinks he is better than he actually is at them.
