Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Then who'll play full back?

Assume Jones and Rojo at Cb with Darmian RB and Blind LB.

Or if Shaw is back fit, then him at LB and then Rojo and Blind in centre. Think Jose might be making a little example of Shaw and he's not starting Saturday regardless

Picked up the injury while doing The Macarena at the wedding at the weekend while standing on the bar

In fairness he started drinking when he was 12, so in drinking terms, he has the body of a 52 year old

A lot of pints on the clock

How come nobody talks about Zlatans drinking, when in fact he has been drinking just as much recently? Crazy how all the haters harp on Rooneys drinking but Zlatan gets a free pass.

In all fairness, "all the haters" at the moment consists solely of the media. I have yet to see **** all fans talk about it at all.

How the hell does anyone know how much the players are drinking ffs

How do you know Zlatan is drinking is it similar to Rooney where it's in the papers or is there more evidence? I'd always assumed pros didn't drink during the season at all.

How the hell would anyone know what Rooney or Zlatan are drinking?
Zlatan could be drinking 12 pint bottles of bulmers and a few vodka/redbull in his front room every night of the week for all we know.

Daily Mail are going all out on Rooney with another article this morning with the headline

"Wayne Rooney 'was so drunk he couldn't string a sentence together as he partied until FIVE in the morning' after gatecrashing wedding at fancy hotel"

yep and apparently elbowed Dier in the face off the ball. this is what dier had to say...

“I think it’s pretty clear what he did and I can feel it on my cheek now,” the Spurs midfielder said as he left Wembley.

“I’ve made a pass and it was a long time afterwards [that] he’s elbowed me in the face, and I just can’t see why. For me, it’s just ridiculous. So I know what he did, and I don’t like that kind of stuff. I don’t mind people kicking each other at times and stuff, but that’s just dirty and not needed.”

Asked whether he had sought an apology, Dier said: “I don’t need him to apologise. I’ll see him soon … These things happen. But I don’t know why he did it, to be honest. That’s why I was angry. It was just strange and it’s not nice.”

I don’t need him to apologise. I’ll see him soon …

id say herrera is terrified, hope he tries something and is sent off in the first few minutes

I've felt more and more detached from football because of the commercialisation and part of that has been the ultra sanitised player image. As long as they're not wrapping their Ferrari around a tree or spit roasting an underage girl I'd actually think better of them hearing a story like that. :)

Dier was an idiot for coming out and saying that.. the Ref is defo going to have more attention on him.. should have kept his mouth shut.

Funny how not one of the guests got a picture of him pissed yet the rags reported it as such.

Well since you asked, here are the alleged drunken pictures. Not sure whats going on with his lips, maybe some weird camera exposure. The close up shot may have just caught him as he was blinking. You'd think if someone was trying to expose him they'd at least take one photo of a drink in his hand... unless he was having sneaky naggins in a cubicle! :pac: The rags say he was necking red wine.

Maybe he just meant "I don't need him to apologise [through the media], I'll see him soon [and he'll probably apologise then]." /naivety

He was obviously not that calm if he was chucking elbows around, getting pointers(pun) off Fellaini possibly.

That's such a cringeworthy and stupid statement from Dier. Trying hard to sound like a hard man while at the same time moaning to the media.
