Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The lack of pace & width is worrying we may struggle to open Palace up.

Its a very similar team to the one that played very well in beating Swansea, so the apparent lack of width may not necessarily be a problem, not if we have the same tactical approach.

They got there in the end, at 7pm.

"United team just arriving at Selhurst Park... 60 minutes and counting until kick-off. Cutting it fine."

On Scneiderlin this post I wrote early last season summed up my view on his United career. I still remember writing that because my view of his time at United never changed. Never took control of a game.
Schneiderlin broke my heart today. Amount of times he had the ball in the middle with 15 yards of empty space in front of him and he slows play to look around for someone open. Hint: you're open.

Im half and half excited and nervous for this game. I feel a turn in Uniteds fortunes but also nervous that Its just another false start waiting to happen.

Im more behind Mourinho than ever as i feel he is starting to get his team the way he wants it and he's managed to bench Rooney without it causing much of a fuss. Selling some players and giving Shaw and Smalling a kick up the arse is a good thing imo.

I'd say Bailly at right back, think he's played there before too. Blind on the other side, probably a good idea to keep the CB pairing together

enough quality in that team to beat palace.. should have plenty of the ball.

dont think jose will break up the jones rojo partnership so i would imagine we will look like this

    de gea

    bailly
    jones
    rojo
    blind

    carrick

    herrera
    pogba

    mata
    ibrahimovic
    rooney

Yeah it's the only way I can see us lining up tbf. Hopefully the lack of width doesn't hurt, Valencia is a lose to us really

I seen an article earlier with the headline asking if United should play without wingers. Didn't get to read it but I guess we will kind of see how it plays out tonight.

    I absolutely hate Selhurst Park.

This United team is very slow.

How spineless are the refs? Got way with 2 straight reds in the last 10 days.

Rojo is a muppet, stupid carry on.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,843 ✭✭✭GSPfan

Id be taking Rojo off and putting Darmian at right back. Our right wing is non existent.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,304 ✭✭✭madcabbage

Shove that one under the rug

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,226 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

So Rojo could've been sent off, Ibrahimovic may have handled it for the goal and Pogba may have been offside.

We're going to use up the rest of the season's luck in this match alone.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,006 ✭✭✭beno619

Huge goal and a rub of the green which we havnt had in a while.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 20,779 ✭✭✭✭jayo26

We don't deserve that goal but fuk it we will take it for a change.

One of the worst refereeing performances I've seen in years days.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

What on earth is wrong with Rojo

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,330 ✭✭✭Dwarf.Shortage

Pogbargain lads, history will look kindly on that transfer.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,843 ✭✭✭GSPfan

If United just carry on in the same manner we will fall back and concede.

Id get Rashford or Lingard on for Mata. Hate Mata on that right side of the pitch. He just doesn't play there, he is constantly in the number ten position.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,690 ✭✭✭ElChe32

Rojo seriously needs to calm it down on the two footed leaps.. 2nd one in three games? Could have done serious damage to Zaha. Saying that, Lee should have been booked for that tackle on Bailly.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,929 ✭✭✭KH25

Crap ref is helping us but I don't care. We've had very little luck (Rojo twice aside) this year.

I hope to Christ Jose has a word with Rojo.

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,193 ✭✭✭✭Kerrydude1981

    Comfortable first half

Might have been handball and offside but they can go and fu*k themselves, about time we got a stroke of luck in front of goals

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 17,388 ✭✭✭✭Jayop

Doubt Rojo wants a few days off over the Christmas.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,943 ✭✭✭✭ShaneU

    Rojo is a serious liability.

We've had 2 soft free's and Rojo probably should have seen red, but they should have had a yellow for diving and one for that foul on Bailly. The free kick at the end was a free. Swings in roundabouts,.
