Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Lucky I stepped in, could have gotten rough there for a second.

Roy of the Rovers display, well done lad

    Knew we'd draw this game.

    Another two points dropped, ridiculous.

    Zlatan says no!!

What a composed finish, serious work from Pogba for the assist.

Be interesting to see which lower league Pawson ends up being linesman in at the weekend, worst ref I've seen in a long time.

    Anyway, huge 3 points.

Majestic from Pogba and Ibra for the goal. Thought Ibra was up there for man of the match too.

Ideal couple of results in a way for the psychology of the team. Proved at the weekend that we could hold out and keep a clean sheet to win a game finally and then tonight had the balls to fight back after losing the lead. I think that's as much the reason for Jose and the players celebrating as the result.

Oh and what the **** was Rooney at when subbed?

I was actually going to mention in the match thread that carrick looked a bit off early on. 1 minute later he started playing great.

Good man Michael, didn't want to upset a fan during the festive period.

We've 4 more league games now before the FA cup tie and they're all games we should be winning.

    WBA A
    Sunderland H
    Boro H
    West Ham A

12 points from those and we'll be making up ground for sure.

Thought Blind was solid in the second half up against Zaha,if he could only give Rojo some of his footballing brain now that would be a great help :D

I'm not sure who it was. Also looked like he was throwing things in th dugout and Jose had to have a word with him

    9 undefeated.
    4 wins on the bounce

Getting there guys. That win was a statement coming back from an equaliser that would have killed us a few weeks ago.
    jayo26 wrote: »
Mick Jones was a beast too tell him.

    This and This

It's so important that we bounced back
Tbf once it went 1-1 we had loads of chances and one was a perfectly legitimate goal called offside

The goal was coming & what a finish by Zlatan

Jones and Rojo bar the idiotic tackle have been so solid

That win meant a lot and will do the team a world of good. Horrific refereeing decisions nearly cost us three points and to get the win in spite of a terrible ref is seriously sweet.

I thought he was giving out about the blatant penalty not awarded but might be wrong.

The ref fcuking shocking 2 hours work, wish I could get away with that type of carry on at work and have no come back from my boss..

The fight is there in the lads, when no goal came in the dominant first 20/25 mins (not many/no chances created) the game panned out like you'd think it would, made that bit harder with fighting against that ref. We got there though, we move onto the next one.

Hard fought win tonight and that could be a huge win for our season. Great to see the passion from the players at the end of the game.
Carrick MOTM for me but Pogba certainly had a lot of moments. Just needs to pick out some simple passes a bit quicker instead of trying something fancy.
Have never been Ibras biggest fan for various reasons but he is turning me around now the last few games. Another super finish tonight.

Saturday's game is massive now. West brom are going very well at the moment and a Pulis team is generally hard to beat. A win there gives us massive momentum going into 2 very winnable games at home over Xmas and new year

I'm all for the fourth officials getting **** wrong but over the course of the night it evend itself out.

Our 1st goal was a touch if handball and offside.

Rojo should have gone for his 1st tackle and the one from behind was certainly a 2nd yellow.

2 we got away with came back to haunt us with the handball and mata goal.

He did let the game flow nicely I thought but the 4 big decisions were all wrong.

First time in the league this season Utd have come back after conceding to win a match.

Third time in all competitions this season. (Others being 2-1 against Leicester in Community Shield and 3-1 against Northampton in EFL Cup)

I thought Pardew gave a fairly reasonable interview with no moaning to be fair to him.

Win the next 3 games and we'll be back in the hunt for top 4. Can't afford many more mistakes, all the top teams in the league have been showing much greater consistency than previous seasons, probably because of an influx of top managers!
