I'm not overly pushed which we do (race v free) but people should note who wanted which once we find out the role of the lynched. Races haven't been very well organised in the past with there usually being a late push to change who is being raced. That'd probably having me leaning somewhat towards free vote, but Andy does make a good point about that.

K its coming up to 3 now. There is no consensus on either one and i think its to be wish washy about how we are going to vote at this stage. The free vote is the one we should go with at this stage.

Keep peoples reasoning for voting until after the vote, i do think there is more info available to people to have a justifiable reason for their vote now though so if someone still sticks with "ah i dont know" they should be a suspect imo.

If anyone has a strong feeling at this point and wants to put a case forward they should i think. I will try and put a synopses up at 6/7 when on break.

@mahama - why so quiet. It's not like you.......

Hi! Sorry, as I posted yesterday, I was flying back from Lisbon and to be honest was wrecked after the week. I had dinner and then slept for like 12 hours straight. Just read through all 9 pages there. Fair play to Stoogie on getting Trump. That's amazing for team village!

To sum up a few questions I have:
    • Do we know yet if Hillary is Mayor? Trump is dead but Hillary may not have been the one to cause it.
    • Do we know yet if Oswald has an extra bullet or are they now a vanillager?
    • There's now no more tasks right? So one the seer gets peeks.

If Trump had completed one task then y0sser got one peak. I'm going to go through his posts to see if there was anything made obvious.

On the voting thing, I like the idea of a free vote with explanations afterwards. Difficult to hide that way but is there a chance of killing our important players. Need to run the actual maths. It's too easy to hide in a race. Although, the benefit that races have is that voting history has the potential to be helpful in this game, unlike the last game. I think Mick pointed out earlier that there was a game where based on voting history we could have picked out the wolves but we went and ignored it.

Also, sorry for those using the signatures, I'll get that updated asap with the live date!!!

Yes, this could well be the case. Some players may not post a reason at all.

The same can be said for a race to some extent. Two or three will be selected and the village will vote. Some will give reasons and some will not - they'll just vote for the candidates selected by others.

In either case, my reasons will be shallow as I don't see any one player as very wolfy at the moment.

Ok guys just checked into the hotel, the wifi is **** so don't expect much from either of us tonight. Seeing as how no real consensus has been made I'm gonna put in a vote and leave my reasoning for it till after the lynch.

    Laterz.

Oh balls. Just got a google msg when we both tried to vote:

"We're sorry. You can't access this item because it is in violation of our terms of service."

We're gonna PM the WerewolfGM account with our votes for now as it looks like google is being a fickle dick.

OP has been updated with a new link, so if link in original OP was book-marked then you'll need to go back to the OP and use the new link.

    Yes, bugs in the machine.

Hillary is now Mayor, so if she could please cast her "normal" vote on the form, and her "extra" vote via PM to this account that would be great.

The same for Uriel if you chose to use your extra earned vote tonight.

Even though its what Id prefer its too late to be organising a race on a saturday as people tend not to be online as much. So lets at least stick to the plan it will be an interesting experiment at least.

If you have a race though, 2 people are picked almost at random because there is so little to go on. You will still get those people hiding and not posting. They will then just go with the crowd and stay hidden.
I think the advantages and disadvantages of both ways are very similar. But why not just give it a try?

Look I was up for private voting yesterday but there is a bit more to go on now because what happened with Yosser. I still wouldn't be convinced any of the people being mentioned are wolves but it's all we have now so it'll probably be them that's voted for both secret and racing.

    Has anyone not voted yet?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,863 ✭✭✭✭crosstownk

I haven't voted yet. I usually leave until late to avoid hassling the mods with changed votes. I'll probably vote during half time in the rugby after I catch up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,457 ✭✭✭tritium

I also havent voted yet. Need to make some time to work back on a few things in the thread before i decide.

Voting me will severely damage the village. Bad move.

Are you trying trying to be confusing? Yesterday no race today race. You forced through your way yesterday and now trying to go back to a race.

You know full well its too late to organise it.

I havent voted yet either though to answer your question

    What time is the lynching?

    What time is the lynching?

Daytime will run from 9am-8.59pm and end with a lynch. All lynch votes have to be received by 8.59pm to be valid.

Well yesterday when we were talking it was before Yosser was caught and I had assumed we'd be lynching tonight pure blind. What im saying now is that everyone is likely to vote for one of the three people who have been mentioned so it's essentially a race now anyway.

I was going to let this lie but as Trit has already highlighted it.......

Vale, it looks like you're trying to indicate to us that you have a role which is potential suicide.

    It sounds very suspect, tbh.

Yea i think the dynamic of the blind lynch has been altered to a point due to last nights events where it is a blind lynch race that we wont talk about till after lynch

Crazy to be hinting at a role at this stage of the game

if he is a villager with a role i just hope he is hillary and not a useful role at this stage

Was going to let it lie originally too but in a random vote we dont have any indicator of how close the vote is so if someone is important they better have a chance to explain why

Well, Ive been locked for the lynch tonight. I'm not a baddie, killing me, damages our chances. I ain't going quickly. Ye need to look again for the lynch. I'm thinking Molly maybe. But not sure as of yet.

Or maybe a wolf trying to make us think he's an important villager and hoping to avoid a lynch.

This^^ no defence to explain why youre legit, just straight to implying a role. Seems very fishy

Does seem fishy but I think a wolf would've come up with a bit more of an elaborate reason, rather than just a very heavy hint.

Implication there seems to be Seer or Chuck. Hillary's extra vote improves our chances by only a small margin at present so not super-useful yet but could matter later.

Hmm, so we're sticking with the blind vote then eh? I agree that as a few people have already been mentioned on thread, it's essentially a race anyways at this stage. I really liked the idea that Jayop(?) had presented earlier about everyone choosing their top three suspicions, it's too late to do that today but we should defo look at it for tomorrow.

Good morning everyone!! Hope we are well.
very good morning (or afternoon now?)mr* valeyard. i am well, are you well?

    *apologies if its a mrs
Good morning, tis a Mr. Well, last time I checked.

Should we have gotten an email about roles yet? Cause at the moment I dont exist it seems.

Cheers, will have a look now

In Valeyard's defence against the charge of setting up for Trump, it appears she* didn't know her* role at that point and so couldn't have been in communication with Trump.

I do tend to believe Vale at this stage, however the whole role thing could have been a clever ploy. Just saying, it doesn't mean he *couldn't* be! It's dangerous to start clearing people this early.

    Agh to much bold!!!

    Anyways...

I dont know if i believe Vale but tbh i wouldnt be inclined to vote for him. As someone suggested earlier it would be silly for a wolf to help set up a task post. If he is not a wolf then his suggestion for a role would mean the wolves will munch him. I think we should leave vales faith to the bodyguard (there is one i think?) If not then we could examine again tomorrow. His wording suggests he's not hillary to me though.

Sulli, same with Vale. The reason for her suspicion is the setting up of a Yoss post. Would be silly by the wolves but not out of the question i guess.

Jayop, i liked jayops suggestion of the 3 nominees until MJ pointed out it would result in a higher percentage of rolled villegers kill rate. I don't think that makes him guilty but he did persist with it for a time. There was also a couple of his posts pointed out and a decent argument made by sulli, although some seemed to reach.

I'm still unsure as to where i will be leaning tonight. I have a vote in and may change last minute if there is anyone to persuade me to.

It's not crap, when I think they are trying to get rid of a villager. Makes me suspect they are a wolf.

No, it's not not. I've done the same thing as a wolf in previous games.

    Not long to the vote.

For the record, while I haven't cast my vote yet, Vale is the most suspect in my books. That whole 'I'm an important' villager thing just doesn't sit well with me.

I'm open to arguments against that decision.

I don't think we should take the risk. We can look at it after the munch in the morn but i think we could be making a mistake if we went for vale at this point. I seriously doubt he's hillary and look what that leaves. In reality anything but the bidyguard is a huge loss to is at this point. Just my tuppence

Can't risk Vale at the moment imo but I'm very suspect about him.

vale has protected himself from tonight's lynch as we cant risk losing a rolled player, after slaughter will tell us more about vale
