    So you been to school
    For a year or two
And you know you've seen it all
    In daddy's car
    Thinkin' you'll go far
Back east your type don't crawl

Useless fact: One of Mings favorite songs.

I thought there was a thread for "everything Donald Trump" to stop trolls from posting new threads!

Quite a few countries have gender quotas and most don't really need them after couple of elections. Hysterical over reaction about qualified men who don't get a chance because of the quotas is a bit silly because as The Donald proved there is a lot more to the politics than being qualified.

Anyway my shock horror at his election lasted about 5 minutes, now I am just entertained by the hysterical reaction. Anyway if The Donald blows up the world it will be at least fun witnessing it.

Must be weird living in a country where Trump is your president but your whole media/university system/entertainment industry swings the other way altogether. :D

That kind of weirdness can actually be a very good thing.

I grew up in a Catholic family, in a Communist country. You get the opportunity to be brainwashed into one thing in regular school during the week, and into another, completely opposite thing in the under-the-radar hush hush catechism class of a Sunday. Bliss! :D

It does actually equip you with a certain amount of healthy scepticism and critical thinking skills. If you're willing to engage your brain a little. It may be good for them.

Two things I can't understand about irish people caring so much about the US election and not giving two ****s about home:

    1. How the **** do we keep voting in Fianna Failure every couple of years when they **** the country each time.

    2. They think trump is the worst, but they don't give a **** about the DUP who are actually bigots and racists on this island.

I was thinking the other day about how my staunch refusal to buy into Catholicism stifled me all the way up through education and has followed me right into my career. The funny part is that growing numbers of people in this country are worn out by the tyranny of religion and are increasingly turning against it in their swathes.

The fact that Trump won by a minority shows exactly what he said after Obama won - the electoral college system doesn't work.

The reaction of Hillarys supporters is exactly what I expected from the hypersensitive millennials of today. They just want to be outraged at every perceived slight and are always 100% certain they are in the right. Apparently the mood is similar on college campuses over here too which while not shocking is disappointing.

When Obama was elected did the republicans start protesting the next day? Its pathetic.

Human being brings idiosyncratic internal stresses of own life and throws them on to some random societal event. Stress relieved (for a while at least). Job done.

"Maybe tomorrow I'll get into a more detailed analysis of how it affects Ireland".

Has that detailed analysis been uploaded yet?

    Stresses, what stresses?
Jaysus, she just got engaged in the past few weeks.

If that's how she reacts now then there are gonna be some whoppers of videos when she is married and/or has kids.
