Small venues for bands in Galway?

Hows things A mate was asking me about any venues in Galway for a band he manages but thinks the Roisin Dubh may be too big for them at the minute, anyone know of any bars that do gigs for live bands like that. Also I've never been to the Roisin Dubh but was thinking maybe its the kind of place that fills up anyway whether…

A mate was asking me about any venues in Galway for a band he manages but thinks the Roisin Dubh may be too big for them at the minute, anyone know of any bars that do gigs for live bands like that. Also I've never been to the Roisin Dubh but was thinking maybe its the kind of place that fills up anyway whether the band are well known or not?

The Roisin has a smaller venue upstairs. Also Monroes across the road has a number of different sized rooms.
