Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So making me self some fish and chips here, but unfortunately, chips with out something over them, just doesn't do it for me any more.

So from the chipper, its either Taco, or Curry.

At home, its either curry, Bolognase mince if any left over, or between two slices of butter bread. Baked beans at a push.

Am yet to decide tonight, on either curry, beans, or have them in a seeded panini.

    What about you AHs?

Big 4 sauce, beats any of them hands down

Two fried eggs and doused with cayenne pepper. If only someone could engineer an all yolk egg, I'd eat nothing else.

Garlic sauce in the chipper but it has been years since I have been.
At home it is loads of vinegar and some salt. Mayo or ketchup or both on the side.

I used to sometimes have lunch with a man who would open four or five of those foil wrapped portions of butter and put them on his chips. He is still alive!

Can't stand vinegar on chips, blergh! For me it depends on what I'm having with them. Cheese sauce is nice, or if I'm having steak then bernaise. Usually just ketchup and mayo.

Well I have certainly heard of Sligo people adding Garlic or Cheese, or even both to that mix.

Been eating steak and chips for the last month or more. Oven chips. Like Worcestershire Sauce on them. Gravy's nice too :)

OP; Has the chipper got any of that white vinegar? The practically clear stuff? That's nice!

Otherwise, in your situation? Yeah. Curry sauce.

My big sis lives in Holland and the Dutch have a thing called Frittesaus. It's a type of mayo mixed with mustard and it's bloody delicious. Last time I was over I brought some bottles of Frittesaus back with me. Yum!!

You can get Frittesaus in the McDonalds there.

Add nothing but like to dip them in garlic mayo.

No salt or vinegar. Never add salt to any meal and chips with just vinegar is wrong.

Chipper chips, garlic mayo and cheese.

Chips at home, ketchup and mayonaise, mixed together.

Chips in Canada, mozzarella chunks and gravy - but it's been ages since I had poutine.
