So regestering a domain for customer, they want, "www.TheIrishKitchenCompany.com"

I know it would look cleaner without the 'the'. But there company has it in.
Its a new company so changing name not a hugh issue to drop the 'the'.

What ye thing leave it in or take it out?

    Its to my discretion.

It's a .com, about $8 to register. Get both and let the customer mull it over. I'd do it quick too now that you've put the potential name out there.
