Hi all

we are a family of 5 going to new York next june for 4 nights.

It was recommended to us to stay around times square.
We have our flights booked and had been looking at accommodation a few weeks ago and had found for example the riu plaza hotel near times square for around 8-900 euro for the four nights from different hotel websites

But then suddenly the prices started to rise massively. it's almost 3000 now.

It's 7 months away!!

I am used to booking hotels in Europe and there are some price changes but not anything like I have seen in this case.

Any advice appreciated
