    Is €109 standing price?

Edit I see standing is €90

+ up to 6.85 if buying online, and another €1 "facility charge" which I forgot about, that is the max, its quite odd, for some gigs they charge a little less, like 6.50 or 6.10. And this is tickets over €100. It is 12.5% for cheaper tickets, to a max of 6.85

    sabbath
    Full Price Ticket
    TICKET PRICE €118.50 x 1
    SERVICE CHARGE €6.10 x 1
    FACILITY CHARGE €1.00 x 1
    SUBTOTAL (Full Price Ticket) €125.60

    robbie williams charging the max
    Full Price Ticket
    TICKET PRICE €129.50 x 1
    SERVICE CHARGE €6.85 x 1
    SUBTOTAL (Full Price Ticket) €136.35
    Prices are in €

    http://www.irishtimes.com/blogs/ontherecord/2016/01/06/new-ticket-fees-for-dublins-olympia-and-3arena/
Meanwhile across the city, the Live Nation-owned 3Arena has introduced a facility charge on tickets. A spokesperson for the venue said the new fee means they can “continue to invest in enhancing 3Arena to ensure that it consistently continues to deliver the highest quality experience for artists, promoters and fans”. Good to see that “consistently” and “highest quality experience” is common to the spiel of both venues.

So how much money are we talking about? While the final figures for venue attendance in 2015 are not yet available, Pollstar’s 2014 numbers show that the Olympia pulled in 191,410 punters that year so that would be a handy €200,000 or thereabouts for the restoration fund. The 3Arena did 470,875 tickets in the same period, which would mean a cool half-million under the facility charge budget line.

However, you’d reckon the latter venue, owned as it is by Live Nation and with a heavy corporate brand attached (O2 paid €25 million for a 10 year naming rights deal back in 2008), wouldn’t have to shake down fans to maintain that fabled “highest quality experience”, thought it’s worth noting that attendance numbers have been falling at the northside venue. Next thing you know they’ll probably have buckets and tins out at the door to collect any loose change.

I wouldn't expect this to sell out quick. It went on sale in Germany today as well at the same time:
    Aerosmith Tickets Cologne Eventim
Excellent tickets are still available in ALL sections.
Click on "Saalplanbuchung" to see which exact seats are still available.

Btw. flight tickets to Cologne are around €40 round trip. I just went to see "The Cure" there last week. :D
Love the cheap flight prices and the exact seat booking options!

heres my view from Bryan Adams last may

    Block A Row 29 seat 26

pretty good view but your view of the screens can be obstructed a bit

Heres a pic of a curtained off gig in 3arena

expect Aerosmith to get a bigger crowd than Nickelback did

The standing area is only half open and lower tiers of the seats open

The prices in Cologne are ludicrous,138 euro for lower level seats ,121 euro for standing and 178 euro for front of stage standing .

Just checked the 3 presale and standing was still available around an hour ago so Id say that this will be a very slow sell ,standing for a big demand gig is usually gone in minutes.Serves them right the greedy maggots.

    Certainly re-assured me :D

Hoping to get tickets for this in the morning. Don't have access to the pre-sale unfortunately so fingers crossed there will be plenty available.

    Any idea how they selling?

    Any idea how they selling?

just put an order and and you can check.

There are no standing left, tried for 2 just to see. offered these instead
    Sec BLOCKP
    Row 39, Seats 263-264

They are the upper section so not curtained off, as I thought it would not be.

Says standing from €128 on seatwave.

Now very strangely I set my price to the highest, to see what better seats are out there, I left standing ticked too.

Now I get offered what appear to be standing.

    Sec GA2
    Row --, Seats --
€89.50 ea and at the normal standing price.

They are maxing out the service charge at 6.85 too.

Tried standing once again with only standing ticked and got them.

The consipracy theorist in me would think they know standing will sell out, and so might be offering first time triers crap seats to off load them, and once they see the punter is not taking them they offer standing, maybe others can try.

Now I tried for 8 standing and got refused, offered these
These tickets are held for: 02:38

    Sec BLOCKK
    Row 43, Seats 110-117
    €99.50 ea
    Buy
    U16S MUST BE ACCOMPANIED, BY A PARENT / ...
    Full Price Ticket
    TICKET PRICE €99.50 x 8
    SERVICE CHARGE €6.85 x 8
    SUBTOTAL (Full Price Ticket) €850.80

tried for 2 standing again and get these
hese tickets are held for: 02:25

    Sec BLOCKP
    Row 39, Seats 263-264
    €89.50 ea
    Buy
    U16S MUST BE ACCOMPANIED, BY A PARENT / ...
    Full Price Ticket
    TICKET PRICE €89.50 x 2
    SERVICE CHARGE €6.85 x 2
    SUBTOTAL (Full Price Ticket) €192.70

Tried for 2 standing again and got them, definitely something dodgy going on.

Now I tick for 2 the expensive tickets and untick standing and get offered standing
These tickets are held for: 02:29

    Sec GA3
    Row --, Seats --
    €89.50 ea
    Buy
    U16S MUST BE ACCOMPANIED, BY A PARENT / ...
    Full Price Ticket
    TICKET PRICE €89.50 x 2
    SERVICE CHARGE €6.85 x 2
    SUBTOTAL (Full Price Ticket) €192.70
    Prices are in €

So seems the good ones are gone, well from general sale at the moment.

I wonder will we get a support band ??. Download is on the weekend before the gig so they might bring one of the bands from that

The ticket only states 'Aerosmith' and not 'Aerosmith & special guests' so mite mean there's no support band
