Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's time to think about who we'll captain in gameweek 12. Major players with injury doubts have thrown a spanner in the works. Aguero my leading armband contender this week.

Chadli as long as he's confirmed fit. Otherwise Kun

edit: scratch that. a rested Kun it is. Chadli probably vice if confirmed fit

    Lukaku...I think.

He's the one player who hasn't let me down this season

Kun only played 45 min in Argentina first game. So basically, he just travelled.

i might not have been 100% clear :p i've changed my captain from Chadli to Kun, had it on Chadli previously but since Kun only played 45 mins from these 2 internationals it makes sense to give him the armband... as opposed to MNF Chadli punt (which is still tempting)

Ah sorry, got your sentence plain wrong (I see it now). My bad :o...

That said, I'd not discard a MNF (C) :P. Maybe not for doubtful Chadli though.

    Never captain Lukaku.

    Except when you captain Lukaku.

Yes. Exactly the kinda of game Lukaku is certain to score a one pointer like the big fat FPL troll that he is.

True, although I don't think it's really his fault, he has been pretty clinical this year, the problem is that Everton can be excellent one week then absolute ****e the next week. Swansea look like they are going backwards under Bradley, surely Everton can't **** this up :D

    De Bruyne (C. Palace A)
Aguero for me just pips it ahead of Lukaku. Palace are leaking goals too and he scored 2 away to West Brom who are clearly better at the back.
Potential for 2 or 3 again from him.

    http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/man-city-fixtures-aguero-guardiola-12197376

Pep Guardiola is assessing the condition of Sergio Aguero and Fernandinho ahead of Saturday's game against Crystal Palace.

Manchester City’s manager confirmed his South American players had returned from international duty tired.

That could see Aguero face more time on the bench ahead of next week’s Champions League tie with Borussia Monchengladbach.

    Ah here.

    Ah here.

Surprisingly horse shìt article for MEN. Nothing in the quotes to suggest Aguero a concern, more that those that played 180mins need to be managed.

I'm not gonna captain a South American after the Int Break unless there's no stand out alternative. But if I didn't have Lukaku I wouldn't be put off by that piece of speculation.

This is the moment that current Mr.P switches the captaincy from Aguero to Lukaku and will result in future Mr.P looking back tomorrow and wanting to give past Mr.P a massive punt up the buttocks!

    De Bruyne (C. Palace A)
Almost all my captaincy calls after internationals have been the wrong calls for the last season or so.
Aguero for now, but Defoe is an option, Hull are muck and starting to get that nagging feeling that Aguero might start on the bench.
Of course, Aguero could start and score a hat trick.

Going with Lukaku as a blue.
Think he will outscore Augero this GW
    Also tempted by Counitho

Hazard. Delighted to see so few numbers beside his name here.

Probably due to the fact that many, including myself, won't be considering captaining him in away games until he starts returning consistently in them. Maybe with this new formation, he will.

I wouldn't risk coutinho. There is a fair chance he won't start even if he is fit.

I wouldn't look too much into his form in his away games. The new formation relieves him of a lot of defensive duties and makes him a huge threat. He's in top form too.
Part of it is really hoping that Aguero doesn't play the full game, which is very possible.
