Probably really basic question but:

Is there anywhere that I can see:

What the most popular news websites in Ireland are?

I see the Alexa rankings but I need to know how many views/ visitors per day

Its a difficult as they don't seem to want to give any stats - unless you are a potential advertiser.

The only scraps of data that come to mind are fairly dated at this point - this from the vaults of 2011 (useless at this point IMO - but a good starting point) from comscore:
