    Hi Folks,

I have the Samsung LE42C650 smart TV wall mounted that needs an upgrade mainly for apps (Netflix)/smart internet access. Great TV so would prefer Samsung.

    Size: No bigger than 45"
    Not curved

Need to have a LAN connection for home net/server

UHD not essential (current is excellent in my mind so I'm sure latest TVs far exceed this)

Can you let me know some options for a quality TV?

Also, need to know the mounting spacings distance in case I need a modified bracket.

    Thanks

Cheers jaytobe, apologies for the delay in getting back to you

Can I just check, is wireless OK, or does it have to be wired for internet?

Prefer to have the LAN connection tbh Brian - home drive with lots on it
But if you have a deal on one w/o, then of course I'll look at it.

OK, it looks like most Sonys would have a wired LAN, and some Samsungs

    As entry level, there's the Sony 43WD751 - http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-202077-bravia-kdl43wd751.aspx?swapstore=1 at £399/€469 - full HD, smart 43"

up from that there is the Samsung UE43KU6500 - http://www.richersounds.ie/p-202104-ue43ku6500.aspx?swapstore=1 at £599/€799 - 43" curved 4k set with freesat

    Regards
    Brian

Thanks Brian. Forgot to say that curved wont work with the height of the mounting, about 6ft up.

Is there much difference in the flat version of the 43''  UE43KU6000 and the curved version?

Is there much of a difference in the 2015 UE43J5500 and the K series?

Also, can I get the sterling price?

    Hey Jaytobe.

    I don't see a 43KU6000 listed with ourselves unfortunately.

The main difference between the 6000 and 6500 is the refresh rate. 6000 is 1300 and the 6500 rated at 1600.

The 6500 would be closer to the 6400 rather than the 6000.

The only 43" Samsung's we stock  are both curved (6500 and 7500).

Going back to the older J series, the refresh rate on the K series is slightly higher. I'm sure there are other tweeks to the components inside.
