    We complain about stagnancy in the Irish team, but seems like Wales have fielded the same team for aaaaages.

    Wales went side to side about 5 times on the Japan 22 with the main play being truck it up the middle. Halfpenny and Williams at least look for space.

    If SA get 2 scores ahead I can't see Italy coming back. Italy need to keep in touch and then be clinical when they get the ball.

    From deep they are doing some nice things, but then they revert to type too often. Shane Williams said it at half time. They are playing by numbers according to the plan, not whats in front of them. If they stretch Japan in any way and get decent ruck ball the Japan defence is dog legged 2-3 times.

    Given the clusterf*ck that is South African rugby and the massive external interference, the amount of grief he's taking is harsh. They're working within a completely restrictive framework which ensures they can't do the job to the best of their abilities.

    He hasn't done a good job but it's hard to know where the overall responsibility for that lies.
