Rugby rule #239, just because Jonathan Davies says "it's on" when a back has the ball, does not mean it is on.

Only put this on at the end. Japan very good or Wales rubbish?

well it distracts them from talking about how rubbish wales have been.

They won't anyway, both Williams at half time were saying "the effort is there just not clinical", thanfully Guscott called them up on it.

Actually Martyn Williams is now calling the performance for what it was.

Just saw SA result. Amazing, delighted for Italy. Probably won't be seeing BigBok on here for a while...!

Can't wait for it to go up online, going to get some popcorn and enjoy it.

Quality game from Japan, shame they missed that penalty earlier. Love watching them play, rugby as it should be.

I wonder what odds you'd get on Japan winning their own WC in 2019?

Well if you were bet to bet €10 ... you'd lose €10.

200/1 on Paddypower and I doubt they even have that good a chance. You might get odds worth taking on them getting to a semi. No way Japan could beat 3 top sides in 3 weeks but get out of the group and win a QF isn't completely impossible.

I'm surprised they're giving odds this early. Maybe I'm just not very au fait with betting. :pac:

Apparently there were only 5 players involved today that were at the WC last year. So there's obviously a bit of depth there. The home crowd advantage could be the difference at the end of tighter matches too.

I mean, I wouldn't be betting my house on them, but a few quid maybe.

Good game between USA and Tonga. 17 all presently, as US possible try being reviewed. USA playing really well, running some lovely lines and offloading. Great to see.
