Limited intellect? It takes a damn good businessman to turn the small fortune his father had into what he has today. His campaign was nothing but genius and the rhetoric he used was captivating at worst. Narcissistic personality? More like an open-minded personality. He may be as close to alt right as a president ever will, he's willing to put political correctness to one side and focus on what matter - actually politics. People are dying, we don't have time to waste talking about what toilet to use, because nobody cares about what goddamn toilet you use. Trump may not be an ideal president who speaks on behalf of everyone - but that's what the senate is for, they should speak on behalf of the people. Donald Trump's only job is to put different ideologies out there (controversial if possible) and get the people thinking. He's doing that. Stopping people from certain countries temporarily is a policy which is unfortunate, but certainly needed.

Trump's business model involved running businesses into the ground and filling bankrupsies. He has been using Trump named properties to allow Russian criminals to money launder for almost 30 years.
Case in point is the ongoing case against Bayrock involving ex Soviet official Felix Sater and others who are up for a laundering suit of 250 million for the Trump Soho. Trump is just a material witness for now.
When Atlantic City Casinos were a licence to print money Trump alone went broke not once.. But 6 times. The taz mahal was fined 10 million for laundering, an American record.
When banks stop lending to Trump Russian oligarchs poured money into him and his properties.
Deitsche bank eventually dealt with him and surprise surprise they are now being tried for laundering money from their Moscow branch to western branch. Trump owes them 350 billion. One of his only owned properties are in the ted for 500 billion.
His debt to China runs into billions like his crooked son in law Kushner.
He is a fraud, a useless business man, a vessel for the scum of the earth. His unspeakable behaviour as head of Trump modelling agencies should have him behind bars for the rest of his miserable life.
He is the most excretabke human to ever occupy a position of power in the U.S.

And Trump won't take it to the Supreme Court. Probably because he knows he will lose out there as well.

Looking like Trump may abandon the 'Muslim ban' EO.

    https://twitter.com/SkyNewsBreak/status/830177505181048832

I await the cue of Trump supporters lining up to explain why this is actually a genius move on Trump's part and how really this is what POTUS had planned all along.

    Trash deleted and card issued.

Now it looks like he is considering re-issuing a new executive order.

This clown just can't get it into his head.

So Robert... let me get this straight right now...

These two Republicans are having a spat to promote the Apprentice...

So once again it is all part of a masterplan orchestrated from the centre of Trump HQ.

Tell me did they start plotting this before or after the tape emerged of POTUS bragging about sexually assaulting women and Arnold renounced his support publicly? OR after?

They know each other well, but this would be a bigger conspiracy that Trump getting $10 billion of Rosneft from the Russians.

Wait what happened to SEE YOU IN COURT? I mean surely he would have made sure of his facts before announcing what he was going to do. Now it just looks like he is running with his tail between his legs. I mean sure, he should have checked that the order would get anywhere with the courts before signing it but he was doubling down on it up to and including 14 minutes after the verdict.

I wait for the next immigration EO though I am not holding my breath that it will be any more sensical.

It has been speculated that another executive order which addresses the concerns would be the easier path, because the SC only has 8 judges and it would likely be split meaning the ruling of the 9th circuit would stand, and therefore a defeat.

I think taking it to the Supreme court would also have slowed up getting Gorsuch ratified, given it could be enough to win at the SC if he was on the panel of judges.

It would be the practicable decision to look for an alternative route.

So yup... more evidence of Trump's brilliance and practicality.

    Robert... honestly...?

Ahh sorry my mistake. You didn't quote anyone so I assumed it was aimed towards me. Thought if there was no quote it was meant for everyone.

Clearly got the Executive Order wrong to now have to try again next week.

But getting Gorsuch ratified would have been affected by going the Supreme Court route.
The Democrats would have delayed as long as the case was outstanding.

Trump has made a small fortune into billions, filed for bankruptcy because he understands business, please don't say otherwise LOL.

Please don't try and limit the free speech of others.

Trump filed for bankruptcy several times because he was bankrupt. This is well documented, and evidenced even by his own statements, and those of his family. He has had a huge swathe of failed businesses and ventures aside from the bankruptcy.

Deal with reality, not some messianic vision of Trump.

He's only hanging in there because of the need for russians to launder money

If he 'clearly got' it wrong, why did he repeatedly defend it and have his administration defend it? Why did announce to the world 'see you in court'?

Gorsuch's ratification has already been damagingly affected (I still assume he will be ratified BTW) and by his own comments, now on public record, regarding the criticism of the judicial branch. It is a disaster. It is a disaster entirely of Trump and Co's making.

Wait what he lost therefore it no longer matters?

SEE YOU IN COURT (I like the caps it makes him seem like a 12 year old reddit troll which seems accurate).

It was typed 14 minutes after the ruling - it very obviously refers to the ruling on that specific EO. Now he is writing a new one because he realises his current one is getting shot down.

What happened to all the judges putting the safety of the nation at risk? No now it can be done a legal way which wasn't done before because he couldn't wait for decent advice. I mean he signed the faulty executive order and has said on several occasions that he believes this delay is putting the nation at risk. Is he taking the blame for any of this?

No of course not. Now the order that caused chaos, that he fired an AG over (even if it was only a few weeks earlier than she would have left the job) no longer matters. Laughable dodging away from this failure.

There is more than one way to skin a cat.
The Trump administration could ban people from the countries listed already to those who have never been in the US or have no links to the US.
It will be hard for people to argue that people with no links to the US have constitutional rights.
One of the universities in Seattle argued that people who have never been to the US affects them if they can't come, but that argument is extremely weak.

There is talk about a new executive order next week.
There is also talk about going to the lower courts to argue the original executive order.
The Supreme Court route is too risky, as well as disrupting getting Gorsuch onto the bench.

It could be see you in court yet, but not the Supreme Court. A new Executive Order with some minor changes would be the easier option.

All we can do is wait and see, as all we are all doing is second guessing.

He got it wrong as he did not see this push back coming against this particular executive order. I am sure he believed the executive order is constitutional, we will see what he does next, next week.

Gorsuch made himself look independent which did himself no harm.

    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/donald-trump-russia-dossier-a7574536.html

This is madness. The dossier which Trump and his team of propagandists have claimed was "fake news" has been proven to be true in at least some aspects by US intelligence officials.

It seems Flynn met with the Russians before the election and lied about it afterwards.

Trump and his administration are dirty and rotten to the core. A bunch of traitors.

You were quick to suggest that suddenly getting the Supreme Court up to 9 was the main thing. It very much did not seem that way. Trump very adamantly defended this order and believes American lives were at risk (well I don't think he believes that but he said it) because it was not in force. Surely any competent AG would have pointed out it would suffer in the courts and he could have started on a new one ages ago.

I mean why not have a reserve one drafted up in case they were ruled against. Time appears to be of the essence.

How this can be seen as anything but a horrendous failure is beyond me. I mean enough people pointed out the stupidity of it the moment it was signed.
