In time you'll learn that over the last 8 years the left wing media took over, and with Trump's election it's slowly changing.

Well that's just vague. It is true that their are more websites making up stories and his supporters are eating it up. News is negative about Trump? It must be fake but of course but can't provide anything to refute it.

It's propagating a certain narrative for 2 years now, and it's not working.

I'm hoping if something if off with Russia you nail Trump but you need something substantial to do that. It's all noise, and his supporters aren't eating it up.

In fairness, it doesnt take the left-wing media to make Trump seem like an idiot.

Anyone with eyes and ears who saw the Press conference with the Israeli PM and his 'Mad one' the other day could figure that out pretty quickly. Reagrdless of political leaning, I would say anyone who thinks differently is clearly living in denial.

I have seen plenty of local GAA gombeens talk more sense and logic than Trump.

What narrative? How is it not working? There isn't some new world order of Illuminati jews behind everything. If you have something to actually say go for it, if it is more vague soundbites about how things are changing and the lizard people have failed to take control, don't bother. It won't work here.

Who said Illuminati jew's were behind everything?

You know Breitbart was created because Jew's were unfairly treated in the media right?

You are simply making up conspiracy theories to suit that narrative. It must be hard to realize not everyone agrees with you.

One thing he's not is an idiot. Over the top, zealous, in your face yes.

What was the narrative and how did it fail? You have suddenly lost interest.

Well, he sure as hell comes across as an idiot based on his behaviour. But then, I dont watch reality TV shows so maybe that is the norm for those type of programmes.

Indeed I dont really follow politics either, but having seen a few of those SNL skits on youtube, there is very little difference between the satire and the reality at this stage.

Well if you're not following the politics and only watching SNL I can see why that's the case.

    Meh.

Guess I'll never learn about it. Everyone who already knows goes quiet when asked to elaborate. I at least took the time to explain the concept of perspective to the poor souls who didn't know about it.

The Jew Illuminati theory is complete nonsense and it gets propagated by the likes of Alex Jones. The extraordinary inequality in the world and in America so certain outlets conveniently pin it on the Jews.

You didn't ask me to elaborate on anything. You took a swipe at Trump and breitbart talking about Zionist jews and lizard people.

Thats the thing though, you dont even need to know politics to get the impression Trump is an idiot, his press conferences do that.

Watch any political skit and you know it is usually a parody, but then you watch Trump talking and say to yourself, this is almost identical to the parody comedy show. Parody=reality.

Yeah and if you believe that, the media in certain aspects is working. Most of the media is politically controlled, even so called comedy shows like Colbert.

    Define "left wing"?

It's not that hard, the groups working during the election with the Clinton campaign.

So Clinton is a radical anti capitalism socialist?

And the media are also radical anti capitalism socialists?

    How do you understand
What was the narrative and how did it fail? You have suddenly lost interest.

Do you understand what a question mark means? It makes the sentence into a question. The definition of a question is
a sentence worded or expressed so as to elicit information

You mentioned some narrative over the past 8 years that failed. I asked a question (see above for what that is) which was to elicit information of that narrative and how the narrative failed.

Who said that? What I've said all along is the media is paid and bought. And the Wikileaks releases proved that. But even if you don't believe the email releases, there's public stuff available, like this.

You keep going on about the media, but I can see these things without them being filtered through the media.

When he claims he has the highest electorate count since Reagan and is called on it, that is not the media twisting things.

When he tells a black reporter asking a question of him to arrange a meeting with a black political group, that is not the media twisting things.

When he berates a guy like he did the Jesish reporter asking a fair question, that is not the media.

Those and some of the other crap he spouted were so unbelievable, it really did seem like parody. Nowt to do with how the media presented it.

Oh no, I never said he didn't tell falsehoods. That part is fair to attack.

    Who said that? ]

You did when you answered my question about "define left wing" with an attempt to say Clinton is also left wing and so they're all in left wing cahoots together because "but Hillary!". Left wing = anti capitalist, socialist, and radical in belief. It's nothing short of weird that you'd associate those with the US mainstream (for profit) media and especially with Clinton.

It's obvious what's going on. If you fail to see that perhaps you're on the exact opposite electorate spectrum, and see everything I say, like everyone you say, as idiotic. That's the way it is I guess.

Also the "but hillary" crap gets boring. If I make any point pointing to past administrations citing what they did, that gets brought up, and it's tiresome.

    GN, heading out.

Oh no, I never said he didn't tell falsehoods. That part is fair to attack.

But its not just the lies, it is the jibberish on top of that.

When he was talking about Israel one state, two state solution, it seriously sounded like he didnt have a clue and the uranium, again sounded like he was making it up as he went.

Perhaps he isnt an idiot, but I would imagine to most people, that is how it comes across.

Of course the media is biased, it always has been, but Trump gives the parody shows so much to work with, it is easy pickings.

South Park creators said it best, they would find it hard to satirise Trump as he was so good at doing it himself.

I asked you to define "left wing" since that's what you were claiming the media were and your immediate answer was "they're in cahoots with Hillary!" if you're tired of the 'but hillary' stuff, stop using 'but hillary' as a non sequitur answer when asked to back up your comments. Because I agree, it got boring pretty soon after the election yet along with 'but Obama!' remains the default stance of Trump fans to try and defend or back up anything, on a pretty much daily basis, three and a half months later.

    Have a good one.

"You look at whats happening last night in Sweden". Trump

The video clip from Trumps speech in in the aftonbladet link below.

I'm not really sure what happened last night in Sweden and everyone here is confused at what he is on about too. I guess his supporter base won't be doing any fact checking though so it doesn't really matter to them. Media tell lies, Trump tells the truth I guess.

I am starting to think that is all a distraction. Not from Russia, Trump doesn't care about that or any other policy.

He is trying to distract everyone including his voters from the real point for him: grab at least a billion dollars of taxpayers money and be a real billionaire at last.

The same Alex Jones that Trump is known to be a big fan of... Brian it's almost as if you're pretending that Trump wasn't a proponent of conspiracy theories about Obama. Completely ridiculous and racist conspiracies. That is who you praise, he has not changed an iota.

Hank, don't prevent he's making a point about the media's honesty. He spouts lies without conscience. What he's doing is using the fact that the US media is rubbish, quazi-entertainment. He doesn't want to make the media better, he just wants it to praise him or he tells his supporters it's fake.

What do you think is the point of his criticism of the media?
