I seem to remember the GOP kicking up a right stink whenever Obama signed an executive order, accusing him of not respecting the fact that congress should be making the laws etc.

Not a problem now that Trump is doing it. He's up to 12 in total now after just 5 days. Obama only signed 19 in his first 100 days.

What's that quote "fools rush in where others fear to tread"

DC, as far as voter statistics go, is just a tiny part of the area that most people will refer to as Washington DC. And the rest of the area around there isn't the same % of black population by any means. They still didn't vote for Trump though, but you know that already.

The total population of DC is 660,000 - which means even if you assume EVERY person in all of DC attended Obama's and absolutely NONE attended Trumps... Obama still would have had a higher attendance. :pac:

It's really an irrelevancy in the scheme of things, but much like losing the popular vote just shows how Trump and his fans can't accept the fact that he's really, really unpopular.

And yes, more deliberate disingenuousness from the usual suspects there, given that DC is surrounded by Maryland and Virginia, 60% and 70% white areas respectively. Anyone who's been out to the likes of Arlington, Alexandria (two -beautiful- cities by the way, would seriously recommend if anyone is visiting DC for any reason, they're each less than an hour away), Reston, Sterling, Fairfax, Springfield, Annandale, etc would know just how ridiculous it is to try and claim Obama just had a biggest crowd due to there being more black people about.

The land won't be polluted unless some terrorist blows up the pipeline, in which case I'm sure the Nimby's would be eligible for a large state compo payment.

Must have been terrorists placing bombs all over Canada for the last 3 years so with the hundreds of thousands of gallons for oil leaked out of the same pipelines.

Have to call people out on their utter drivel.

TPP (and TTIP) trade deals abandoned which is something the progressives were very keen on in the Democratic primary campaign, so much so that Clinton had to disavow her previous support of the deal.

But Bernie is a socialist, so Trump is now also a socialist? #logic

(Just taking Trump's primary opponents as an example) Paul, Huckabee, Fiorina, Carson and Jindal were also against the TPP so according to that logic Trump would now also be simultaneously a libertarian leaning constitutionalist Republican, a Christian Conservative etc. etc.

Long-standing NBC reporter. If it's not true, The Donald should sue.

Was only that I'd seen every other news site running the story as well. Still sounds crazy though, maybe I was still holding out a little hope that he wasn't as stupid as we thought.

On the day of inauguration Donald Trumps first signing of papers was televised live. Those present vied with each other for the pens used by Pres Trump for the individual signings. This is usual practice and pens are considered coveted items. Paul Ryan was given a pen which he proceeded to put down on desk, whereas others held on to theirs. At end of signing Donald Trump lifted pen, returning it to Paul Ryan, before leaving. Paul Ryan replaced pen on table and left. Seemed such a blatent act that I was surprised it was not mentioned. As if Paul Rayan was saying "I want notthing to do with this, I am here only because I have to be" Any thoughts

What is your alternative to using oil and gas pipelines .

And we also said what is done by Executive Order can be undone by Executive Order. I’m curious, because I don’t know the answer, but how many of Trump’s EO’s were merely undoing previous EO’s. How many were done as intended; which is to "take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed" (such as action to get the Secure Fence Act of 2006 fulfilled, or to follow the law on the books regarding illegal immigration, etc...), and how many were measures that truly sets or changes policy?

My sympathies lie with whatever Trump sprog was repeatedly whinging "When can we go home. I want to go home". I know how she feels.

Bit of a leap there. More likely he just didn't want the pen, and left it for some of the staffers to pick up. They can always sell it on ebay.

Daily update from the Trumpistan circus: The senior management of the State Department, who deal with foreign policy, have resigned and Mexico's President Nieto has called Trump's bluff daring him not to attend their meeting earlier today on Twitter... by cancelling their meeting.

Apparently the Chief of the border control has resigned as well.

Really? Odd, since they've done such a bang-up job.

So your reponse to the news that your country's system of government is collapsing before our eyes is to post an undated picture of people climbing a fence?

Trade wars are looming and your country has hardly anyone competent left in a postition to negotiate a way forward.

    Aha ha ha.

Well, I guess Mexico's peso was overvalued anyway. How much has the peso fallen since election day?

    Resigned?? :D
Morgan — a hand picked Obama Administration official — does not have the will necessary to secure the border for the citizens and legal residents of this country.
Approximately 6 months ago, CBP Commissioner Gil R. Kerlikowske officially announced the hiring (appointment) of Mark Morgan, one of the Obama Administration’s top risers within the FBI. Morgan is the same FBI Agent that a number of congressional offices believe “scrubbed” FBI training manuals of information that would have been damning to the agency and the Administration. Chief Morgan is a disgrace to the Border Patrol.
Fired, most likely. And not a moment too soon, according to the border patrol officers.

Or country's system of government is collapsing before your eyes? A bit melodramatic, don’t you think?

Don't know the exact date, but I recall that picture from a news article just days before Trump's inauguration, reporting on illegals streaming across the border in the last day's of the Obama Administration. And the State Department does virtually nothing to stop it and lets it happen? Don't know if they were resignations or asked to leave, but personally, since they did very little to stop the last minute mass migration I'd tend to use the line "You're Fired," also.

Zero credibility in your post, given it came directly from the Trump administration's PR wing.

    Let me guess - Breitbart?

Also who is going to replace all of these very experienced people?

    More random billionaire Trump/GOP donors?

    More Trump offspring?

At this rate they'll have to prop cardboard cut-outs of Trump behind all the empty desks..
