How to create an sms shortcut in ios?

    Im getting a new alarm installed and you can text it to set and disable etc, id like to add an icon to the home screen that is effectively a short cut to sending that message.

    i think its possible just cant remember how :p

    It's sort of possible, but not from the home screen. Use an app called Workflow that'll create a widget that lives to the left of the home screen (the today screen) and you can set it up to send a pre-written text to a number. Let me know if you've any bother.
