Golf 2010 1.6 TDI engine cutting out

Hi

Seen a few older threads on this /similar but didn't see if anyone had narrowed down exactly a fix.

Car starts up fine and get to end of estate turn to go out on junction and engine cuts out. Other times have been approaching roundabout and car appears to be losing power.

So it appears to be engine when warm at low revs struggling and then cutting out. If then switch it back on it runs fine.

Get car serviced regularly and had indy mechanic look at it but they can't work it out. Planning on bringing it to main VW dealer but anyone got thoughts on it.

Issue is intermittent but happens nearly every day.

EGR failure is common enough on them. Not sure if your symptoms point to this though.

You need to get it scanned. As said by previous posters EGR valves are common failures in that engine.

I would say are pretty bang on dont normally log normal faults for it though unless extremely bad
