As a 49ers fan I've been dreading every game this season. But I'm really dreading this game. It could get pretty ugly.

I've a feeling this is the end of us Titans fans losing streak versus the Colts...

Poor enough gameweek by way of intrigue this week, but one thing I'm really looking forward to seeing is that Ravens run defense against Elliott and the Cowboys O-line.

The Ravens have the leagues best run D giving up just over 70 yards per game on the ground while the Cowboys have the best rushing attacking pounding over 160 yards a game.

    Something has got to give!

    Packers lose...

...checks back through schedule to see who we're playing...

massive massive game for the titans, not just in terms of the race for the division but in breaking the loser psyche around the Colts. Beating them in Indy would a step change for the team.

    Also come on Raiders

8-6 last week, one of my stronger ones this year, although it did include a shameful pick of the Bears over the Buccs.

    Saints @ Panthers
    Cardinals @ Vikings
    Bills @ Bengals
    Bears @ Giants
    Steelers @ Browns
    Buccaneers @ Chiefs
    Ravens @ Cowboys
    Jaguars @ Lions
    Titans @ Colts
    Dolphins @ Rams
    Patriots @ 49ers
    Eagles @ Seahawks
    Packers @ Redskins
    Texans @ Raiders

I had wanted to pick the Titans this week, I've been up on them all year, but the Colts just seem to have their number. They look the most promising team in the division, and it's there for them if they can take the next step.

Not a match for last weekend for sure, but still some intriguing matchups from a playoff perspective. So many teams are just hanging on to their playoff hopes by a thread, that is seems every game has implications. Also, I would prefer to wait 25 minutes and watch Eagles v Seahawks instead of Dolphoins v Rams and Jared Goff's likely debut.

Prediction: It will be the Ravens run D. That Cowboys line is otherwordly.

In fairness it seemed like a reasonable pick at the time.

Just saw this, which speaks to the dramatic playoff implications for some of the games this weekend:
    https://twitter.com/bburkeESPN/status/799274013340090372

Vikings, Eagles, Giants, Steelers, Redskins, Saints, Cardinals and Titans can all see their playoff chances dip by 12.5% (or increase by 12.5%) depending on the outcome this weeks games alone - a huge 25% swing.

Texans, Ravens, Packers Bills, Lions and Colts are looking at a 20% swing.

The Eagles alone will have a 60% chance of playoffs if they win, 30% chance if they lose.

30mph winds and snow due in Cleveland on Sunday, so it might be Cleveland's run game v Bell and not much in the air. On the WR front anyway, Wheaton is on IR, Eli Rogers not getting involved, Coates getting very few snaps.

Could do with a Cowboys win as well...

    Vikings quick start.

    Wait penalty

Just seeing now that the Vikings cut Blair Walsh. Yeah I know he has had a bad season but... wow. Just wow. The NFL mentality to kickers & punters is a f***ing joke.

He's also only 26; someone is going to pick up an all pro kicker with 10-15 years left in him, and the Vikings are going to the b*tching to themselves about how they're stuck with journeymen (they replaced him with a guy who has been on 5 teams in 6 years). It boggles the mind, really does.

Some change for the Titans this week it seems.

    21-0 down already.

Bold play calling from mike tomlin again. Going for a TD with clock at 0.00 from 1 yard line.

    Works out though.

Not a day for extra points

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

7 missed extra points so far today. Kickers having a mare today.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 15,697 Mod ✭✭✭✭dfx-

Tomlin going for it twice after two defensive fouls...a lot of people would go for the FG and slaughtered him...

And gone for 2. Awful game though, wind playing havoc with FG range and everything has to be short on the ground..

I'd like to point out that Roberto Aguayo is 3/3 from FG's.

    COMEBACK PLAYER OF THE YEAR!

only catching up with the titans game now, been pretty poor offensively, hopefully we can make a game of it

Some return by Bush, weird to see the defence being the one playing well.

Titans getting back into the game against the colts.

It looks like the Bucs will win at KC. Big result.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

    DON'T JINX IT!!!

In fairness its been a complete performance from the Bucs, but KC's D has been incredible in the Red Zone.

    Roberto Aguayo 4/4 from FG's and 1/1 on XP's

2.27mins left and KC have 3 TO's left.

Bloody massive OPI on the colts

Bucs get a first down and KC have used all Time Outs. Just past the 2 minute warning now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

Bucs break a 10 game win streak in Arrowhead Stadium.

Go to 5-5 on the season and 1 game off the Falcons on top of the NFC South

Reckon the bengals could do with a change in coaching.

Collins interception and that's game for the Giants . Tight game but NY are 7-3.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,927 ✭✭✭✭Realt Dearg Sec

Bears let the giants off today. Final drive looked really dangerous until a comedy of errors, penalties and bad play culminated in an interception to finish. Bears did well in the first half but fell to pieces in the second and then gave up a golden opportunity to steal a win from a team that don't look nearly as impressive as their record, imo.

It gets tiring watching the bears.

Pats looking very ordinary against San Fran. Can't see why we are still favourites for the super bowl. Defense is bang average. Seattle favourites for me anyway.

I think we'll have a battle to get past Dallas
