    Hi,

My lad will be 3 in December. Lately, he has no interest in Peppa Pig, Puffin Rock, Ben and Holly, Masha and the bear etc.

He is watching a lot of Spideman cartoons lately on the Disney XD channel.

I had a look at it myself the other night and there are just some freaky/scarey looking things on it and kind of adult themed things.

Is he too too young to be watching this stuff ?

Obviously, there will be different opinions, but just looking for some feedback.

It's PG which would indicate that parents need to check and see if they feel it's suitable. If you feel he's a bit too young then go with that. There is bound to be an age-appropriate spiderman cartoon around somewhere as a subsitute.

We hid the You-Tube app on our devices and put the kids version on instead because while he was watching those bloody kinder eggs and kids opening toys some suitable content he was well able to navigate his way around you tube and occasionally opened up some stuff that was unsuitable. This way we could set it to his age group. We still have to be watching out though, there was a bit of Peppa Porn floating around a while back, but with the app it's less likely to get through.
