    Hi,

Just wondering what your connection turn around is for a property off the network.
It's been disconnected for between 6-12 months and we have our Periodic Inspection cert sent to ESB Networks.

    Hi Cork_exile,

    Thanks for your message.

Electric Ireland can only provide an appointment for a reconnection where the property has been without power for less than six months, or a wiring certificate is not required by ESB Networks.

As the property has been disconnected for between 6 to 12 months, Electric Ireland would be unable to advise of the exact reconnect date, as the work would be carried out by ESB Networks.

Instead, Electric Ireland would put through a reconnection request on our system, and this would then be sent to ESB Networks within a number of working days.

ESB Networks would then contact you in order to arrange an appointment in order to facilitate the reconnection.

If you would like to arrange a reconnection request through Electric Ireland, and avail of savings, we would recommend contacting the Electric Ireland Sales team on 1850 305 090. They are available to call from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, and 9am to 5:30pm on Saturdays.

Should you have any questions please let us know.

    Thanks,
    Brige
