Reaping the fruits of two poor transfer windows. Going into the summer, Liverpool needed a good centreback, a new fullback a couple of creative midfielders and a striker.

Got the midfielders in Mane and Gini but nothing else and that wasn’t addressed in January. Recruitment has let Liverpool down.

I'm sorry but I'd have Moreno on today. He's a complete oddjob but can offer width and pace down the left and can cross without cutting in. Play Milner on the right can cross first time then.
