Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dembele is looking very good, I know its a tin pot league but he has almost 20 goals already this season. The lad knows where the net is. Seems a bit on the low side the rumored fee though.

I'm looking forward to pics of him in the stable, tbh.

Moussa dembele of celtic has been linked with a move to us in january for a deal reported to be in the region of £20 million.

Reports from a glasgow newspaper says that klopp has sent scouts 5 times to watch him this season
We were constantly linked with him when he was at Fulham. It might be a good move, backup to replace Ings and replacement for Sturridge next Summer who can hit the ground running, assuming Sturridge moves on.

Going to be a serious player that kid and would suit our system perfectly.

    Mentioned him previously here - http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=101194109&postcount=6158 #PatsSelfOnBack

Maybe he could be used in part exchange and would welcome a move to Scotland.

A chance to reunite with 'The Rodgers' who will feed his ego and make him feel important.

Also the quality is so bad that his decline wouldn't be as noticeable. Even missing his usual amount of games he'd probably end up top scorer.

No chance that Studge is going to Scotland redonkulous idea tbh.

He signed a 4 year deal 6 months ago.
There is no way Celtic will sell him for £20m IMO.

Does Dembele not have a lot of similarities to the way Sturridge plays?

Scott Sinclair also looks too good for the league, not sure it says THAT much - but I do think he's got a very bright future (Dembele that is)

Just love this photo from last night. I think Woodburn is coming through at exactly the right time with a manager who'll know exactly how and when to use him.

Liverpool's defence - a goal was conceded this month.

Liverpool's attack - only 10 goals scored this month

    MUST DO BETTER! :pac:

Typical Liverpool; Just got an email from LFC with the subject line "A star is born" in reference to last night.

Klopp was in the news today cautioning against media hype at this stage of lads career and even the club themselves are paying him no heed

So, no Coutinho, Lallana, Sturridge, Firmino possibly for the weekend, guess we'll see how good our squad depth is.

Firmino has been declared fit for sunday. Lallana is in contention

Not to jinx it but West Ham and Arsenal going out would probably make us favourites for the League Cup.

They usually fanny about for ages after the last match has ended so probably about half ten.

Would prefer Utd in the semi than a final tbh.

They would be a handy team for Klopp to break his final streak against.

Arsenal Arsenaling there way out of the League Cup means Liverpool now enjoy the longest unbeaten sequence of any team in England (except Barrow in the Vanarama with 20) and possibly the entire world - 15 games.

    Southampton away first.

    Soton v Pool

    It's perfect
Over two legs we will be difficult to beat

Best possible draw for Hull. :pac:

    Southampton. Interesting.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,394 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Southampton are a very decent side but we should have won there last week. Should manage it OK over two legs. Injuries permitting.

    Southampton? Tricky.

    Southampton? Tricky.

Great to have second leg at Anfield.

    We have a great chance.

    Why fear Southampton?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,337 ✭✭✭✭monkey9

I'm worried about that draw. Hull have had plenty of Wembley experience the last few years via play off finals and the FA Cup. They'll be tough to beat if we get there.

There's absolutely no guarantee they'll reach the final though. Give United some credit, they're capable of an upset if everything goes right for them.

I'd say Mike Phelan will roll over to keep his name in contention for the United job in the summer.

Would also guarantee him the Sunderland job down the line as well, if it all goes to ****.

It would have been a great two games for the neutrals. But a final is now on, and who better for Klopp to win his first trophy against. Could be epic if we get to final.

Klopp gets Liverpool to there 3rd semi final in just over a year as manager and 2nd place in the league so far this season not bad at all for a guy who would never want to manage Liverpool.

If us and Utd make the final I'll be spending it behind the couch.
