Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Another goodie, seems Ragnar is a national hero back in Estonia, I was in stitches when Milner referred to him as Raggy in his post match interview after the City match... :)

I have been trying for a few minutes now, but I cannot imagine Klopp begging for anything, from anyone, ever!!

We would have spent a lot more time chasing the ball then they did in their last game. People are saying the lads can rest after tomorrow but I'd rather play lads that are fresh and not far off our best first eleven for this game the likes of sturridge and origi. There is a reason why teams don't play games less than 48 hours apart in any other leagues or at any other stage in the PL. Its because you can't recover properly. If it wasn't a big deal PL clubs would play on a sat after an el Thurs game.

I recall the post-match commentator mentioning that LFC ran a combined 120 Kms on Saturday, the furthest of any side this season. I expect changes today, a lot of them will not be fresh enough to contribute, regardless of the fact they will have rest after the game.

LivEcho has Inter wanting Lucas on loan, and LFC wanting to sell. 2017, same auld ding dong...

It hasn't happened yet, that huge celebration of 3pts.
    It didn't happen against City
    We are not there yet
It's coming though, the same scenes we saw with Rodgers team
It will be even more beautiful when it starts to happen

I would love Lucas to be there to win a title with us
    He would want that too
    We need him right now

Really enjoyed that. Klavan has done really well. Like him even more now! Raggy is a great name.

Both Raggy and Matip have been wonderful additions by Kloppo. Tall, elegant CB's with good positioning and great passing, both for peanuts.

Seems to be settling in well, a bit of a character also I'd say, and delighted to be playing for us by the sounds of it...

Funny he didn't believe that Liverpool were looking for him and asked Klopp for a selfie after the call to prove it, ha ha

Looking a bit thin on top right now. Just one change and that's Sturridge. Roll on the return of Matip, Coutinho, Grujic, Ojo, Gomez and now Henderson

Will be lucky if we don't get injuries with so little rotation and games so close, bet sturridge will be first ,think i saw him warm up at the city game

Really great goalkeeping from Mignolet and a great save from Defoe.

For every decent thing Sturridge does there's 4 or 5 examples of why he's not good enough long term.

Harsh enough assessment of his performance today, to be honest.

He's been our main focal point going forward.

Yes, counting down the days until I can see him sitting at the back of the Liverpool bench getting splinters!

Way too many touches on several occasions. Did well for the goal tho.

Been our best attacking player so far, got a goal and has forced a couple of decent saves. Firmino shouldn't be on the pitch on current form, origi a better option. mane looks knackered too.

Can is a worry we know he takes an age to get to the pace of a game and this one is just not hanging about waiting for him. Sturridge does take too long to move the ball/refuse to pass a bit too often.

Origi will be on by 60 mins for Firmy or Mane I;d say

Yep, thought Can was awful for most of that half...he improved though.

Course it's harsh, he hates the lad. Cries salty tears when he scores.

Another one guilty of taking too long on the ball. Milner's been fairly sloppy too .

Just block the lad if it bothers you so much.

Sturridge was imo your best player there by a distance. Mig in second with that brilliant stop against Defoe. Almost got to the pen too.

Lots of folk can't see through the Firmino blinkers, on current form he wouldn't get a game with Sunderland unfortunately.

If he's out for a while now I think it's all mental. Every time the opportunity presents itself for him to step up he's gone down injured.

    F*cking stupid Mane.

Gotta feel that Klopp got it wrong today... too many of the lads looked shattered. Bobby needs a rest in the worst possible way. Really need Spuds to do us a favour tomorrow.

Well there we are no point beating City and drawing with Sunderland if there are any designs on the title. In the Top 4 race it's okay but still annoying.

    20 games played, 2.2 ppg.

In great position for top3, can't complain really.

Don't care how poor we were, would've won if it wasn't for that non free kick. Ref was brutal today and Sunderland's complaining got to him.
