Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dunno if it was mentioned but Klopp said there was a few players "struggling" and he might have to change formation today. Didn't say who the players were.

I haven't seen it anywhere either. Have we got an ITK among us?

    I'm more of an IDK(I don't know).

Sturridge out with a calf injury for today.

Well that settles that debate. Lallana and Sturridge out. Stick with last weeks XI and bring on Origi.

It never said he was injured, it said he had a minor calf issue. For all we know, he's nursing a baby cow back to health.

What a terrific young man he is.

Sunderland 17/1 today on the back of winning two games. Worth a tenner to drown my sorrows if it goes tits up.

Only realistic way Sunderland win this is a correct score of 1-2 @ 45/1:cool:

Tricky fixture but the bookies are not taking any chances with Liverpool.

Of course the week Sturridge is likely to get a start he's out injured. Hopefully we get Origi from the first minute anyway.

If Daniel isn't more careful Southampton might not try and make his dream move to the south coast come true and we may miss out on that defender van Dijk I think is his name they want to give us for him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,983 ✭✭✭✭NukaCola

    Probably would have started today?

Should have enough for Sunderland but would have been nice to have him available tbh.

Usual front 3 I'd imagine for today, origi might get 30 mins.
Sunder land could be tricky enough.

I think we all could of guessed who one of the players was and we would have been right.

Has anyone seen Aguero's goals against Burnley? I actually can't believe it's the same defence that held us off for 90 minutes.

Just back home from Dublin airport . We were supposed to fly out this morning with aer Lingus, both scheduled flights cancelled due to fog in Liverpool
All flights in and out of Liverpool delayed.

Just read that flights arrived at JLA at 12:50 today, don't know why aer Lingus cancelled instead of just delaying flight until fog cleared.

Lots of angry LFC fans at the airport today

Some sickner to have to come home :(

Christ that's some pain. Normally they are slow to cancel, surprised they didn't delay it.

Probably because the aircraft would also be needed for other scheduled flights later in the day. If they just kept it parked up for an indefinite period to allow one set of passengers get to their destination they'd have to delay or cancel several sets of passengers later on if there is a knock on effect.

Not nice for you obviously (and I'm sorry you missed your trip) but better to cancel 150 passengers from one flight than discommode 300 or 450 passengers later in the day.

Sturridge injured again? Outside of Kompany, is there anyone else who struggles as much to stay fit?

Yeah, he's had two real bad injuries but I was thinking along the lines of the injuries that Sturridge seems to get, minor knocks every 5/6 weeks.

Van Persie was like that before he went to Utd.

Nah, he played every single game in his last season at Arsenal.

He stayed long enough to get over his fittness problems and show them what could have been.

Our pivotal player gone off with a pretty serious looking injury and we're discussing RV ****ing P?

Even worse he's trying to use it to make a roundabout point on Sturridge.

We were due a poor performance. Important to grind out a win so hopfully we can get the 3 points.

Coutinho's potential long term injury is a disaster though.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,828 ✭✭✭gosplan

    Looks pretty broken alright.

I've seen a few hyperextensions of the knee that looked awful and weren't so bad in the end but there's no way your ankle should be able to do that.

Bummer for you guys. He was always great but was really showing consistency this year.

Disaster for Coutinho , we badly need to step it up and gain 3 points today. Hope Origi finds the type of form we need, he has it in him.

If Coutinho's out for the Christmas period then we need players to step up and we need Lallana and Sturridge to come back soon or we're in a lot of trouble.

    You've OK games at least.

Bmouth, Weat Ham, Boro, Everton, Stoke.

Then It gets tough right at the end of Dec.

I'd hook Milner and get lunaticbrain on for something different.

Judging by the photos, if he's back by Easter, we'll be doing well.
