Small van insurance

    Basically, can I insure a Fiat Doblo Cargo van 15cwt, on private insurance for social domestic and pleasure use. Switching from my current insurance on an opel meriva 7 seater mpv, to this doblo.

    Or do i have to start another commercial policy.

    I know I,ll have to tax it privately, which is not a problem. But I dont want to lose my NCB on my car which is maximum, and start again from zero on commercial.

    Only your car insurer can 'mirror' your NCB thus leaving you in best position..

    Not many people buy van totally for S,D&P

    Its my son who is considering this.

    His occupation is a special effects technician for film and media. Lots of small tool kits ect
