Hi everyone. Does anyone have any thoughts on quotedevil.ie? I got a home insurance quote from them, €65 cheaper than our current provider, with accidental damage cover too. I'm probably answering my own question here, but I couldn't help but notice that she didn't ask me too many questions, namely am I near a river, or about pending or past claims, etc. Maybe I'm overthinking it, but has anyone any thoughts or experience with them? I subsequently moved on to another insurance company; the guy I spoke to there seemed horrified at how cheap the quote was (€299) for what it included and said he had no idea how they could have offered me this price. He advised me to check their underwriters and ensure that I disclose all relevant facts to them; even if they don't ask. He seemed to 'check' himself then, as if he realised what he had said, and explained that he wasn't bad mouthing another insurance company, but I think his general idea was for me to be cautious.
