    Hi Guys,

    My ignition is sticking when I'm trying to turn the key, it's getting worse so want to replace the barrell before I cant turn it at all, I can take the barrell out no problem, my question is if I get a second hand barrell and key, how do I merge these with the ecu or is this needed? I was hoping it would be as easy as a straight swap but I doubt it is as easy as that.

    Get yer olde barrell repaired, many places do that while you wait. :)

    And yes, if you gonna go replacement, you will have to code a key to immo, and that can be impossible if you currently have no master key.
