    Hi,

Need a bit of help. I'm looking to purchase a hunting gift for someone. They've been hunting all their life and have exceptional equipment. I'veno idea what I could get them. They hunt deer, pheasant etc. The budget is €100. Any suggestions? Antique or something?Where would be good to go?
    Thanks in advance.

A knife or a torch maybe?

We can never have too many knives and the torch technology is continually improving.

    Try Heinnie Haynes. Www.heinnie.com

    A couple of possibilities:

It can be hard to decide what to buy the hunter who has been at it a long time and has exceptional equipment. You need to figure out what he needs but doesn't have so that he'll make use of it.

I have been hunting for over 40 years and have (nearly) all the gear I need or would use. Still, each year my kids surprise & delight me with hunting gifts that I make great use of afterwards.

Few suggestions here - you'll have to figure out if he already has these and if not - would he make use of them?

    LEATHERMANN PRUNER & tools

I got similar as a present and carry them always - great tool & gift. They are ideal for cutting brambles etc. when trying to get through a gap, looking for a shot pheasant etc.

    ZIPPO HAND WARMER

Great for all types of hunting in cold weather. They are re-useable so buy some fuel as well

    WIND DEFLECTORS

I find these great when carrying the dog in the boot of the jeep. Alway air in but everything is not blown about the place with windows slightly open

    PRIEST

handy to use for dispatching when retrieving a wounded pheasant etc.

    KNIFE

A knife is always a great present but he probably has a favourite already...kniife can be difficult to decide on as everybody has different personal choice.

    KNIFE SHARPENER

Always useful to keep an edge on favourite knife...may have one already if hunting for years....but a portable, handy pocket size one he can take out in the field with him can be very handy...a cheap stocking filler

    WARM SOCKS

never go to waste and can't have too many...I have these WarmSocks and they are brilliant
