Cancellation (within cooling off period)

    Hi

    I called last week to cancel our bundle, this was within the 14 day cooling off period, I was told the equipment would be collected and a Jiffy bag would be sent out for the mobile phone.

    I didn't hear anything else until I called today and was told the cancellation wasn't put through. They put it through and I got an cancellation email telling me it will commence within 30 days?

    Has it been done properly? I don't want an early termination fee.

    I too cancelled our eircom account at the end of July, however  I was never offered or received a jiffy bag to send the modem back, instead I was told it would be collected. Its still sitting here waiting. Can we get this sorted before Christmas, please?

    I received a letter this morning from a debt collection company telling me that I owe Eircom €79.37.

    Why is this? I was told many times previously that there was no balance. And, why am I finding out from a debt collection agency almost a year later?
