I notice this only with the tag.

On the bill it gives you the net amount, vat amount and the gross amount.

But when i am putting the e-flow invoice into the accounts package, the vat never works out , the vat per the e-flow statement is always a few cents more (could work out at 20 cents more)

Did anyone ever notice this ? or am i missing something :pac:

Waiting for posters to tell me i don't know how to calculate bloody vat :pac:

    Rounding maybe?

Are they calculating the VAT on each transaction and adding them up, but your software is calculating on the total Ex VAT, and then calculating the 23%?

Just checked on my on bill and it's as you guessed. They're rounding the VAT amount on each individual toll then summing up the rounded figures for the total amounts.

With that level of monthly bill, a difference of 24c could very easily be explained by rounding on individual journeys.
Eflow themselves (when they used have rep accounts) confirmed as much

    It is rounding! :p

You're calculating the vat looking only at the total amounts. If instead you calculate the vat for the individual journeys, note the individual rounding errors, then total things up, you'll see the rounding errors accumulate to your difference!
