Pigeons on roof

Living in a terraced house which is onstreet. The house opposite ours was badly neglected and condemned and had a bad pigeon infestation. Roll on two months ago and planning permission up outside house and pest control come in to cover the holes in roof etc and keep pigeons out.
That was fine until the pigeons decided to cross the road and set up home on the roofs of houses opposite including ours. There is now pigeon dropping all over street and cars. There is literally crap outside my front door and with a buggy going in and out this is extra disgusting. Any humane suggestions to deal with this would be appreciated. We're hoping to sell soon and can't see anyone looking past the pile of pigeon crap to cross our front door!

Get someone with a Harris Hawk to come around for a few days. That will sort it.

I don't think there are really that many things you can do to discourage pigeons from coming around.

Go to disconnect shop and buy a bird of prey statue, eagle etc.

Where is their food source? They will often hang out in a specific area if they get food.

Not sure what the food source is. They were living in the house opposite since I moved in 5 years ago! Thanks for the advice, ill try and get a bird of prey statue for the roof. Was also thinking of calling pest control to see if they would help as I don't fancy scaling the roof!
