i know its early in the morning. so i woke up to hear that there are bad fires close to haifa. and then i heard this strange thing. palestinians and russians were supplying planes etc.. to help put the fires out. has there been some seismic shift in the world since i last went to bed?

When I hear these stories I often see if they correlate to the prophesies. Isn`t there some prophesy that says something like " ... fear not `till men from the far north (Russia) invade Israel." The prophesy goes on to say " ... after the battle, for seven weeks the Israelites will toil to bury the corpses of the vanquished invaders." I am not sure if this is a biblical prophesy or from Nostradamus or both or from some other source.

That's the slaughter of Gog's armies you are referring to. It's in Ezekiel chapter 39. Seven months to bury the corpses (verse 12). Not sure if it's really about Russia, though in chapter 38 verse 15 it says Gog is from the distant (or far) north, and Moscow is directly north of Israel.
