    Hi
If my handlebars and fork on a road bike are regularly (twice/three times on a short ride) going out of alignment does that mean I just need to tighten them up or could there be a bigger issue (like a problem with the frame or something?)
    Thanks
    m

probably just need to be tightened. but i'd get that sorted ASAP, the last thing you want is to lose control of your steering.

If you can't follow this walk/drive bike to lbs. Don't cycle with loose headset

Undo the stem bolt and top cap bolt. Align the bars. Tighten the top cap down until you can no longer turn the spacers underneath the handlebars and then tighten the stem bolts.

also, if you pull the front brake and push the bike forwards and backwards, is there a rocking sensation in the headset?
