I rarely need an excuse to buy more kit but there are mega deals floating about today.

Saw Gabba's reduced to £70 on Wiggle and cross bikes as low as €450 on CRC.

If you spot any good ones put them up !

Bank balance will be even more fecked at the end of today :)

I don't know that there are many deals that are any better than they have been for the last couple of months to be honest, except for the usual thing when there's a a low stock end of line thing in your size. Sterling is stronger than it was recently too.

Having said that I got a Poc Octal helmet for 150 quid from Wiggle (last week), that's 335 euro in Cyclesuperstore!

Have to say that none of the deals seem to be better than what would have popped up over the usual course of the month anyway. Every deal mentioned has had a lower price in a regular shop reduction over the past 3 months anyway. Like most things on "sale" on Black Friday, they are not going to be loss leaders, particularly online. They can afford to sell at these prices most of the time.

Might be some bargains in Bricks and Mortar shops to drag you in agus sin e.

Saris bike racks 50 quid in Sligo.

No idea if that's a good price or th.

It is if he's true to his word on all racks regardless of RRP.

I'd say stock might be an issue. Probably plenty of the single bike carriers I bet.

That bike is £419 and has featured on the Bikebargains site for a week or so, other there too... http://www.bikebargains.co.uk/bikes/cyclo-cross-bikes/
Note the Raleigh is a fairly chunky 10Kg and the fork is alloy, not carbon, all as pointed out by someone else on here earlier this week......

Ah, I was looking at the Maverick myself. It's circa 600, but Reynolds 631. If I bought the right size I could use it for light off road stuff and the girlfriend might start leaving the car at home for work.

The only way you could try and match that deal is to check if Halfords have any of them in their shops. Most had a display model in Size M. There were no size S left anywhere in Dec 2015.

The Maverick was my son's first mountain bike.
He got it from Santa Claus.

I think the Maverick was their first foray into mountain bikes after the Bomber. Certainly one of my mates in school had one in the 80's.

My bike in school was a Carlton Criterium. Got nicked when I was doing my leaving cert. Devastated. (Sorry... Waaaaay off topic).

You have to get the green one to get a good deal. I'd pick one up if I hand't just added to my bad weather gear recently.

Been mentioned in the Di2 thread but 10% off at Dolan Bikes with code "Black10" until midnight.

Just had a look around Halfords in Blanchardstown. Nothing there. Richie?? in Humphries said they'd build one up for me if interested but I'd need to speak to Derek first.

Strange one here Gabba 2 in all colours for £68stg (approx 80 euro) from Mantel.

The only thing is that it is a UK only price, if you try to get it delivered here then or go to the Mantel Ireland site then it will change to the Mantel Ireland price of 128 euro.

My 4 year old has asked santa for a set of 50mm
Carbon clinchers. Some of them have more cop on than they are given credit for

Gabba dispatched today and tracking number received, ended up working out at 83euro (postage to UK is free).

Offer is still on site, some colour/size options are out of stock but a lot still there.

Just ordered a gabba 83 euro to parcel motel :)
In medium the only color not available was blue... went for a red.
What arm warmers work well with these?.. I have Altura ones but they wouldn't be waterproof.
    Marty.

castelli nanoflex would be the obvious choice of arm warmers I'd say.

This, or if there's enough of a price difference Sportful No-Rain, or DHB rain defence, as they all aim to do the same thing. Have the nanoflex myself (as much because they were the cheapest of the three when bought), and they're at least as resistant as the gabba itself
