30 euro return with Ryanair,free entry to show and came back loaded up with bike gear and some tools.Lots of bargains to be had.

I missed the cheapo flights by a day cause I forgot to book them.D'oh.:o

Actually upon looking at my email,it was only 10 euro outbound and 15 euro inbound,so 25 euro return is still a good price for a great show.
Got the programme too,which is well put together.

Just looking at Ryanairs website there for Sunday and they want over 400 euro return for the day...............not a bleedin hope.:eek::P

Allmost actually,free shuttle train from the airport to the NEC,all of 2 minutes of a journey.:D

Theres a few shots in there to catch your imagination for the 2017 show.;);)

Took a bike related flight once into Brum, wasn't the NEC though it was off to a dealer in Solihull to pick up a nice secondhand Kwaker. The Dublin airport security guys were a bit alarmed by my magnetic tank bag on the x-ray machine until I explained what it was. The dealer was right next to the Rover plant which was still going at the time. It was a BMW car and bike dealer - that says it all really about the decline of the UK.

Just caught the show on the telly...seems like it was sponsored by Ducati,KTM and Datatag....no Kwackers or Hondas got a mention...

How did you get so many good pics without someone cutting in front of you or hopping up on a bike just as you snap the picture?! I was there yesterday and it was busy out!

Great show but I didn't get to see as much as I liked. Some great bikes there. I really liked the Yamahas - the new R6 and MT10 and of course the R1

Last days and first days are by far the worst days to go.....especially the 1st as the bargains are fewer. You get the best bargains on the last day.....need to balance out if you are going for bargains or a look see.

Politely asked some of the folk to "move outta me way".:D

I was there on the Wednesday last,busy,but not over crowded.And plenty of bargains to be had by haggling.

Yes, midweek is a good time to go if at all possible.

Missed it this year (work), and last year I spent 24 hours in Dublin Airport and missed it (Storm Desmond remember.... )

Was thinking of going to Koln or EICMA or somewhere next year, not sure what they're like.

I was there last year - thanks to the boardsie who told me about free entry btw - brought my nephew over this year. He's a car lover but really enjoyed himself. We stayed for 2 nights, flights were €38 for the 2 of us (he's only 15y/o), the hotel was 92 sterling, but i got that refunded as we had a bad nights sleep on the last night, thanks to work they are getting done in the hotel keeping us awake! Came out with loads of freebies, which pleased the nephew - even got 2 suzuki t shirts! We weren't even 2 feet outside of the exit of the bikeshow and he was talking about "when we come over next year..." Lol
