Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm usually one to find the positives in any card but there's no getting around the fact that this one, main event aside, is a steaming pile of ****e from top to bottom.

    Dan Hooker - check
    Rich Walsh - check
    Daniel Kelly - check
    Kyle Noke - check
    Jake Matthews - check
    Solid main event - check

You've got your bi-annual Australian card.

Defo tuning in for Knight v Hooker, Knight is a straight up nut job entertaining way to fight but clearly loads of holes there fighting that way but I see him taking Hooker out by Decision or Sub. Will watch a few prelims main event is intriguing but the fights on the road to it won't indulge me to stay up into the early hours, 2am and i'm done I'd imagine :o

I'm only interested in two or three fights on this one.
I've trained a bit with Tyson Pedro, is an excellent grappler and underdog in his match. Fancy him by sub.

Zhikui now 2-5 as a pro.

He's giving Chris Avila and Charlie Ward a strong run for their money for most out of their depth fighter on the UFC roster (and I'm not counting CM Punk before anyone says it :pac:).

There was a stage he almost finished Luasa an all, great chin on Zhikui. Luasa I thought was on the verge of being impressive after that first round by the end obvious decision win aside he was looking as being on the same level as Zhikui

    Clearly not :D

Good scrap, that. I was kind of hoping Vera would lose after his stupid showboating in the first round, but after hearing about him trying to raise the money for his daughter's operation I was actually glad to see him get the nod.

Entertaining first round here with Hooker/Knight.

    Another good fight.

The usual rule of a crap card on paper turning out to be very entertaining looking good so far.

That said, I wonder if this card might give the UFC record of 10 decisions in a single night a run for its money? 3 decisions from 3 so far. There's quite a few more fights that look nailed on decisions too. Probably get 7 or 8 at least.

Told ye lads that Jason Knight is a lunatic!

Any chance Jon Anik can stop doing that stupid attempt at an Australian accent every single time he says Melbourne?

That was the worst of the bunch so far anyway the right man got it but I do think Walsh got that 3rd round he lost nonetheless. 2 sloppy sluggers in truth

One of the rounds of the year crazy stuff complete brawl Brunson sprinting around with his chin out was clever...

It was 3.85, so not massive.
He was a slight underdog overall. He hits subs from everywhere so figured it more value than backing him straight out.

Crazy crazy round. Technique out the window but very exciting.

What a sloppy, ugly main event! Well done to Whittaker.

It's reminded me of 2 lads going at it in the school yard!
    Anything could have happened.

That main event was seriously fun. Brunson was gassed after 30 seconds of wild swinging :pac: But Whittaker did well to survive the storm and made his strikes count.

I'd like to see Whittaker get a step up next. Weidman maybe?

Nice to see your boy Pedro get the $50,000 bonus, Mellor. Brilliant debut and he did superbly to get the takedown immediately after being rocked.

    Equaled it.

So this card (2016), Fight Night: Bisping v Silva (2016), Fight Night: Mousasi v Machida (2014) and UFC 169: Barao v Faber (2014) jointly hold the record now.

    Did he? Ah good stuff.
I thought he did well to stay on control whilst rocked. I thought my bet was goneski when he was dropped.

Despite 10 decisions I actually found it a really entertaining card!
