If he had wanted to hurdle that and stay on his feet, he could have really, really easily. He chose not to. As in made a decision to simulate being taken out of it.

In all honesty it would have been very harsh decision.
The ball was played at pace about a yard away from him and no idication that he delibratly moved his hand towards the ball.
So yea the ref got it correct like he has been all game tbf
