Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What do you think? Yesterday I arrived out if a toilet stall and came face to face withe a MALE... . aggghhhhh the horror. He was with his wife while she was changing her baby's nappy on the changing table. As far as I'm concerned he did not need to be there not should have been there. I did give him dirty looks so that he would know sO disapproved ;-) What do you think, should I have said something to him,

Get used to it snowflake, it's 2016. If I'm bursting for a piss and suddenly feel like a woman, I'm going to take that piss in the womens bathroom.

I saw a woman driving a car yesterday but you don't hear me complaining.

Must've been a right scuttery nappy.

Don't you ladies just use cubicles? Or do you walk around with your gees out outside of the cubicles?

Not like there's anything for him to look at.

The problem I have is at things like gigs/matches, when women decide they don't want to queue for their own toilets and just use the men's.

Crudely put but he has a point lol! Unless he was standing there with his lad in his hand I don't really see the issue.

I think you need to get over yourself. Lord forbid you ever end up in a unisex toilet in Paris with men using urinals along the wall, as you make your way to and from your stall.

I'm sure he's traumatised by your dirty look.

I'd say he was a pervert and grabbed the chance to go in the women's toilet with the missus. Most men would wait outside.

I often have to bring my two daughters into the ladies toilets when they need to go.

In saying that, only when there's no disabled/parent bathrooms available.

I could bring them into the mens with me I suppose, but I don't really feel comfortable walking through them with the lads shaking the dew of their tulips and what not in front of a 4 and a 6year old, so I usually head for the ladies, find a stall and let them be little girls in there.

Feel free to have a word with me any time you feel like it.

To see what? Women washing their hands?

He was helping his wife change their baby, not wandering in on his own for a snoop.

Never be right again after that.

When I was little, my mam used to bring me swimming and she'd bring me into her changing rooms. I wasn't complaining because back then tits were tits. Whether they were attached to 40-something milfs, or 80-year-old grannies with dripping-wet pubic hair, I always got a rise (pun intended) from going in there. The point is....actually, there is no point. This isn't relevant to the topic at hand - it's just something I remembered and felt like sharing.

Do people understand all the "did you just assume my gender" etc. and "if I feel like a woman" is anti-trans propaganda? There's no actual statistics to back up that it's a problem for one. Right now it's scary for a lot of LGBT people due to Trump and the rise of the far right, so it'd be nice if people didn't repeat their rhetoric.

Yeah, all good until you see a 16 stone chick flossing her arse with a towel and 70's bush to bate the band.

You do realise trump is in America and can't do anything to Irish LGBT?

I have no idea what that really means, nor how it fits here (thread or country). I think we need a variation on Godwin's Law that references Trump.

There are far right & fascist movements across Europe and many LGBTs especially Transgenders do a lot of their socialising online. Anyway, I know well those memes are almost always used in a transphobic context.

When possible, it's definately better for an father to bring his children to the men's toilets. However, as a last resort I can understand bringing the children to the women's toilets.

Unfortunately this father was with the mother of the child and she was changing the nappy... the Father really didn't have an excuse to be there.

I would find that more common than a man entering the ladies' bathroom.

Women entering the male toilets in a pub/nightclub..... Acceptable, hilarious

Man entering female toilets in a pub/nightclub..... Call the police. Sex maniac on the loose

You can't be serious. It's much better for Dad to accompany daughter to the Ladies than Daughter to use the Gents. What planet are you on? This is nothing abnormal. Would you rather your child's father took her in to the Gents? Honestly?

Perhaps the mother needed some help. You know, that thing that proper Dads do for their wives/partners when they have kids.

What did you find so offensive? What was actually so terribly wrong with him being there? How did it impact on your life?

You realise those people have as much right to feel and say whatever they want, just as trans folk do?

Being trans doesn't give any protection from others views. They have to deal with things they don't like or agree with just as we all have to.

If trans are going to get all het up over words then perhaps they need to grow a pair.

As if there was something to be seen, other than a dad probably throwing a nappy full of crap into a bin. Boo hoo hoo. Some people are getting far too uptight about something as simple as having a piss or a dump...get over it. Unisex bathrooms are grand to use, whenever I've used them.

Precisely, I know..... But any father who crosses the threshold of a woman's bathroom will inevitably get the 'daggers' from some women

What should my wife do when she has our 2 boys with her and they or she needs to use the toilet.
Can't exactly leave a 6 &3 year old standing outside a ladies toilet!
