Somebody asked me if they know if this is normal or if there is any way of getting out of this sort of arrangement?! It's an apartment complex and they pay gas bill through management company!

Is it a communal gas system for the whole block? This should mean savings overall for everyone but also means the management company have the contract with the utility and bill the individual members for their portion.

She should really get involved with the AGMs for the management company. As an owner, she is a member of that management company and decisions about the block and its finances are made there. She should get in contact with the agent or directors about the arrangements if she has an issue.
