Paying Overdue Loan

    Hi, my wife has an overdue loan that we are looking to pay off. She had a death in the family, and things got pretty tight for a while, resulting in a few missed payments. I want to clear the overdue amount, and in a few weeks, clear the entire balance of the loan.

    Is that something we can do on Banking 365 or on the phone? Or do we need to drop into the branch? And i'm assuming she'd need to do it herself, and it's not something i can do for her?

    Thanks for contacting us on Boards. 

    We're sorry to hear about this. 

    We would advise her to first get the closing balance of her loan by calling BOI Direct on 0818 365 365 and a representative will be happy to help with this. Once she has this balance, she can make a transfer to the loan account for the full outstanding amount on 365 Online. Our BOI Direct line is open 8am to midnight Monday to Friday and 9am to 6pm on weekends.
